Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum By FAR, the upcoming Game of Thrones King’s Road was the Game of the Show! It plays like God of War Ragnarok! :) (> 3 Months ago)

"Let me explain something to you. Um, I am not "Mr. Lebowski". You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing. "

Animations seem incomplete
Local co-op seems as incomplete as the online one. You can't use your character you create from another profile as the henchmen, it has to be from a set of pre determined people
Game feels as incomplete as Fable 1 and a bit rushed
Still a great game though

Either way this game is fun, but it severely lacks polish. I don't agree with the decision to forgo cutscenes, especially with how damn slow the scenes are. There are awkward pauses in NPCs between sentences. And the animations during these events are stiff. The menu system is also annoying. I can't believe no one noticed this during testing.
Fun game, lots of flaws.

Bitches!!
They need to patch it. I'd almost suggest people wait until it's patched to play it.
Animations are incomplete, you see that immediately as you walk down the hall of the castle as a little kid (within the first 10 minutes of the game.
Conversation is really awkward yeah, it drags.
Your kids DON'T grow up to become heroes, this is a really aggrivating discovery...
Also everyone follows you fucking EVERYWHERE. You can't go into your own home without a group coming in to see you, what the hell is that? Harassed at every turn
So what's new this time around?
The world is bigger, you get new quests I guess
You get married I guess? You have kids? It feels very cosmetic and neither has any lasting affect on how you play the game or feel about the game. It needs more depth.
Loading is also excessive
This is just an upgraded Fable 1 to me. Overhyped and overrated.
I still like it, and play it, but god is it lacking.
It could use another year or two if not more
The dog to me is also something just to entertain you between missions.

BTW, I don't understand how this game doesn't have a fully streaming game world, from the lack of that to LONG loading times? Come on now. I mention this because I was under the impression that it was going to be a streaming world with no loading since you could go "anywhere" this time around.

PS. Getting married aint new either.

I don't think that there's any good reason that a segmented world can't be convincing and enjoyable. I hear this constantly when people are comparing Fake Cry 2 to other open, yet slightly more linear experiences.
It's even more confusing coming from a champion of RFOM, a game that is literally a time machine in its genre! Existing in a sandbox does not instantly make something more enjoyable than something that does not!

Out of the game for half a minute. The travesty.

Load times are fine, i dont see anything over 10 seconds, graphics are really impressive, keep noticing little cosmetic things that make a huge difference, cloth simulations and whatever else. Sound is really well done in it, areas that are populated sound populated and some of the things you hear while doing jobs is brilliant. "Can you still win those vibrating bunnies from this game?"
Can't wait to get back to it.

There really isn't a lot that is NEW in this game, and the story is really short.
You would also assume with the exclusion of the need for armor (so you end up looking the same), they would have a shit ton of clothing. BUT they do not. It makes it feel like they just got lazy rather than trying to vary character appearances.
Also load times are really aggrivating since you're constantly going through them when going to Quests, missions or simply entering another section of Bowerstone.
Tomarru, I for one don't like the sound. I don't appreciate in the recent games that when you turn away from someone you basically cannot hear them any longer.
Personally I don't even want to finish the game now (I'm close to the end). I started out in this thread saying it was still really good, but now I feel the opposite. I'm probably going to go sell it soon.
I played most of the game from the social aspect of just buying things and interacting. I went back to the story eventually and within a day I was almost to the end of the game. A story that isn't that great and I'd rather not listen to (the option to skip by holding A has been very used by me, because conversations in real time are painful in this game).
Basically what it comes down to, is I was excited for all these new features apparently in the social aspect, and they were incredibly shallow. Then when I went back to the game's story, it was short and hard to listen to. I think part of it also is the fact I played Fable 1, so it's very clear how much lack of improvement there really is.
I give this game a 6/10 at best.
Animations are flawed, glitches and load times mar what appreciation I had for the graphics.
Lack of clothing and variation
The dog is shallow
Your relationship in marriage is shallow
The children aspect is shallow (they don't age past 10)
The story is short, and I don't want to listen to anyone in the game
Multiplayer is borderline worthless
You can't truly DIE, you just lose XP and are reborn
Infinite mana
Infinite ammo (let's turn on godmode and type in rosebud)
No D-Pad assigning so you have to hit your bumper to do any sort of social interaction (why even have the d-pad function that's random?! I need to use the bumper all the fucking time)
