Forza Motorsport 3 : Thread

Good, guess that argument earlier about the cockpit moving forward wasnt warranted if they pulled them back. I prefer the wider cockpit shot where you see more of the car, it is infinitely more impressive and is the benchmark for pretty much every other game that does cockpits.

Can't wait to see some more trailers come from them, need to see more video of the newer vids considering that it surpasses the E3 build in just about every area by a huge margin.

Edit: Just watched some of the career vids...amazing.

Nice video on the career, I really like the new UI, it's just so much cleaner. Things seem easier to get to, and I really like the calendar thing and the fact that you are in no way tied to it. The way they show you all available events and color coding them is also great. This game is looking like the most thought out Forza yet. Just awesome.

Can't wait for tomorrow to see new car reveals, and hopefully a track!

I agree with that.. And that's also the biggest problem for GT5 I think, that PD doesn't really know how to 'finish' the game.. I just read GT5 will have a 1000 cars, but only a 170 of them are 'premium' with in car view and damage.. I mean, wtf?!? PD needs to get it's act together as Turn10 with FM is now really showing GT's weakpoints..

Premium cars are cars with damage and in car cockpits in GT5, all others lack damage and cockpits (or thats the way its been explained so far). As an end result, they kinda fulfilled their promise to have damage and cockpits, but fall far short of what people expected / hyped and what FM3 has done.

I love the calender thing aswell, its kinda funny, while playin 2 over the past week i thought a system exactly like the one they put in would work far better.

I thought it was just damage, didnt know it was cockpits as weel, that's really poor. Looks like GT5 will be a beta for GT6

Well, it isn't confirmed, but that's what it's being assumed. Of course if you go to GTPlanet you will find that all cars have cockpit, but only a few will have damage :P

No one knows the exact info.

Oh right, it would be pretty silly if they only had 170 cars with cockpits and 830 without, so I'm guessing that "Premium Car" statement refers to damage only.

Yup, the rims and tyre detail is truly sensational, I really cant believe what they are doing with this game visually.




I love this new garage menu, much much better than FM2s.

I wonder if we'll see another FM on the 360 though, it's technically possible. If not, it would surely be a launch title for the new box. I'm thinking 2012 for the new box? 2013?.........
