I think MW2 makes the top 10, too, but that's just based on the face blasting, balls to the wall nailing campaign. All that multiplayer malarky nonwithstanding it's still a remarkably exciting shooter.

And yeah, production values on Alimo's GOTY lists are definitely on the rise! :D

Interesting I haven't even played the top 4 games :P Also some one sneaky voted Megaman 9. Oh I forgot Zen Pinball was this years game, great pinball game!

Do you guys wanna do a list of what we think the top 5 of 2010 will be? We could compare it next year with the games we actually liked >.< (only if alimo has the time and patience to compile a new list)

Bayonetta is on the list because 2 people imported from Japan and actually played it and finished it. You know you can vote for her (Yes not a typo, I mean her ;) ) in Gamersyders Top Games of 2010!

I played 4 of the top 10 games and I can't say any of them was particularly outstanding. 2009 was the year of arcade games for me. I hope we get even more quality arcade games this year and hopefully some indy devs get onto this as it seems there is great potential. I got less time to play long or demanding games, arcade games are the saviours.

Nice work alimo. Cool list. It was a good year, and i still didn't even play most of the games on top 10 :P Need to play Uncharted 2 when i get the time, loved the first one.
