Inscrit depuis 7338 JoursI'm trying to decide wich mouse to get for my gaming sisten. I have been using a conventional mouse for a really long time, but it doesn't work anymore. I decide to get a new mouse, and I want a proper gaming mouse.
For the moment my options are this:
RAZER Lachesis:

RAZER DeathAdder 3.5G:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8...
Logitech MX518:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8...
Microsoft SideWinder:

Wich of those you think will be better option? I just want your opinion.
I like the deathadder a lot, but the others look great to.
Thanks for your help :)

Damn, I still use my Intellimouse Explorer. It can do per pixel precision and it's 7 years old; they don't even make them anymore... 40 bucks.
I don't see the need for anything more expensive
(I haven't needed to use a back/forward button for what seems like ages now, thanks to the fb buttons. Don't know if it applies to other brands without software running)
Whatever you get, just make sure you have a couple extra buttons on it and it's decent optical, else there's not much point in spending the money.
Laser is overpriced usually, but it doesn't succumb to the surface area crap.
(I had to build my own mouse pad out of cardboard and packing tape)

I think I'm gonna go with the deathadder but I'm betwen the old version or the new version. Is it worth it the extra DPI on the new version?

It can be expensive, but it does have its reasons. It`s firstly, a dedicated `Right-Handed` mouse, (left-handed option is now available too), which adds so much more comfort, that you`ll wonder why you ever used a simple `Universal mouse` before.
When you hold it, (not to sound weird in any way lol), but you kinda feel like saying: "Oh yeah baby, you and me got some fraggin` to do baby!", as it really does fit so comfortably into your hand.
To be honest, I am always on the lookout for wireless versions too and was pleased to see that Razer recently released their new `Mamba` mouse, which is the same body & dimensions as original Deathadder mouse, but now it comes in this new wireless form and has a sweeet looking charge stand with it too.

Oh my: http://eu.razerzone.com/media/catalog/product/cach...
If on the other hand this is too expensive, then the regular Deathadder wired version, (like mine), is cheaper and just as good. To be honest, I do get concerned that one day the wire will split and render my mouse useless, but it`s a good trade-off, knowing that it`ll never run out of charge during an instance in Warcraft for example lol. (The Mamba can be used as a wired mouse too, by plugging in its wired charge cable).
I hope this helps mate, but seriously, get a Razer product as I know deep down inside that the day my Deathadder dies, I`ll be straight on the internet buying a direct replacement, or the new Mamba.
10 out of 10 for Razer !!!!!

Inscrit depuis 7364 JoursYour point is stupid. The NES pad thing was a gross overstatement obviously, but it is a lot like playing your console with some crappy third party controller. If you're going to game, you want a solid device that's going to perform as good as it feels. If you actually played PC games (especially FPS) for any reasonable length with a good mouse on a good surface you wouldn't think it was so stupid. Every PC gamer here knows that gaming mice aren't bullshit.
