Visually looks more impressive and alive then watchdogs on next gen consoles, which is both hilarious and sad at the same time.

I'd say it looks about the same but running at a much lower resolution and with worse LOD. This looks great, but the effect that resolution has even with the blurry as fuck nature of their engine is pretty big. And I watched this on a 24 inch monitor, on my 60 inch TV it's going to be a lot worse, and that's where I'll be playing this if the job postings they put up for PC porting inhouse don't turn out the way we all want them to.
This looks fantastic, but it doesn't have nearly the sharpness or density of Watch Dogs, I'm sorry it just doesn't. On a PC though, I bet this'll look about as good. Not quite as good, because it's going to be using assets intended for 600p and all that, but man do I want to see this on a PC because they are doing a lot with the PS3/360 as it is. Put real power and resolution behind the engine and this game will be smokin'.

They should have made this game on next gen instead, make a new engine and all that. More excitement interms of looks and hype for new consoles than do it on current gen.

Yea, current-gen is where the install base is.

Also consider when they started making this game there was no next-gen, so if they had decided to make it next-gen it wouldn't be coming out for like another 2 years.

I'd much rather see them build a pure next-gen title in their own time, than switch to next-gen for the sake of it.

It is good but not OMG by any means. 5yrs in dev more than 100million budget for a game. I am not sure why people are so surprised or wowed by this. Rockstar are pretty good at this.
