Yeah that must be accurate. Modern Warfare 2 isn't even on that list and it's going to sell like gangbusters on every platform.

But yea.. Halo seems to get plenty of love in the main forum.. and very few people are questioning its ability to move units.

I'm seriously considering trading my Halo 3 now if ODST comes with the Halo 3 MP in its entirety.

I'll miss it in the meantime, but if I wait until ODST ships it will lose even more of it's value.

HALO3 isn't really ready for HDTV. When i am playing it on my 16:10 pc monitor i can notice all the flaws like lack of AF, AA and some bad textures. But damn, when i am playing it on my 42" HD ready plasma (1024*1024) the game looks stunning. It's the same with all existing HALO:ODST gameplay movies. When i am streaming them to my tv it looks just amazing. There is absolutly no aliasing noticable and the effects (lighting, fire, explosions) are the best i've ever seen. Especially the explosions looks damn phenomal. I mean, look at the explosions of Gears 2 or Uncharted 2, the heavily lack of color varity and some kind of volume, they just don't look real. I think HALO3 has the best explosion/fire effects i've ever seen.

Thats my understanding anyhow, then again we never know, maybe bungie wants to change the gameplay mechanics for the next halo, imagine powers like crysis, after all its different spartans and each one seems to be specifically altered, 1 looks really buff, 1 super fast etc..

I've been playing Halo online recently again but only because of the "Action Sack" playlist. I enjoy game modes online in Halo that are a bit wacky and creative. I used to love playing custom games of Zombies and AVP etc. Rocket Race was my absolute favourite thing about Halo 3 but for some reason they canned it.
