just finished the first book in the forunner saga very good thoroughly enjoyed it
Bit hard to read, due to spelling errors and shit, but it was great and gave a great backstory on the forunners and gave us a slight insight into the precursors.

Who's to say he is the only one though, gravemind was his name given, not type, but there must be more of his type, and what exactly was he a flood version of? forerunner? doubtful, precursor? possible.. especially after the description of the precursor in cryptum at the end (the one the forerunner warrior speaks to in that vault thing.. the one taken by the caretaker of one of the halo rings.. which might of been the one we know of, but i cant recall the name of that caretaker, i can only think of guilty spark and it was not him, it was the one in control of delta halo[spoiler/]

I'd hope Flood is annihilated for good. Halo doesn't need space zombies anymore, ODST and Reach greatly benefited from no Flood in their campaigns. I think it'd be extremely cool if Master Chief found Forerunner survivors in the Dyson sphere and they'd be the new (intelligent) opponent, along with the good ol' Covies.

Sorry but flood are a major part of the story, in fact there more important to the overall story than covenant.. as much as they annoy say... everyone lol, they will be back, they might act differently this time though, they might be smarter (the ones we have thought in the past, grave mind aside have been essentially children) and been as though they may be precursors.. they may have there vast intelligence
making them vastly more interesting.

I would be very happy if the campaign was more than the usual 8-10 hours, 343 to show off there muscle should throw us a 15-18 hour campaign.. that would be sex

oh and have the AI and difficulty scale with amount of people in CoOp, 4 player CoOp even on legendary is just a rape fest.
