Damn, that was really good. A true Master Chief rival. Still, not nearly as good as I was expecting. Hoped for something far better than that, as cool as that was. For people who already read the books, you can sorta see how that didn't do much. They should've showed far more than that little action scene between the Chief and the Prometheans, or something more between the Chief and Didact.

Not quite as impressiveness as the stuff that's actually in the game, at least from a framing the vibe standpoint. It also probably felt lacking due to the absense of very much dialogue.

Forward Unto Dawn Episode 3, however? Totally kick ass.

And did I ever call it about that blonde girl, or what? :) Likeable as hell, but I knew it was a trap lol.

FUD is pretty intense. They make the Covenant seem so menacing and new. That massive explosion is one of the more impressive things of its kind that I've personally seen, even by very big budget standards.

Episode 3 did a good job of making the main character slightly likable (slightly) and, more importantly, made the Covenant seem just bad @$$. The Elite looked menacing. Hopefully they show it being completely menacing.

From what I've seen of this so far, if Hollywood isn't even remotely interested in taking Halo to the big screen, then just about nothing will get Halo to the big screen. Between FUD and Halo 4 the game, I'll be surprised if a deal isn't finalized within a year of Halo 4's release.

Yeah what'd they only make 20 billion in the 4th quarter or something?

It's the first loss since 1984 or some such ridiculous amount of time. I imagine they're wealthy enough that a quarter loss won't affect them that much in all these years.
If anything it'd be more incentive to embark on some other venues to avoid another minor loss in their long history of profitability again.

Microsoft also wants creative control, and I think they're right. You can't trust Hollywood to make a good movie based on a video game (and extremely rarely so on a book), and the wider public thinking Halo is shit wouldn't help MS at all.

I wouldn't trust Hollywood, either. Based on what we've seen from Halo when Microsoft's people have creative control, I think they have a pretty damn good argument for why they should maintain creative control. Did you hear about what Michael Bay is planning on doing to Ninja Turtles!? He's trying to kill such a major part of my childhood.

Or is it Michael Bay? Damn, I don't even remember, but what I read about a new Ninja Turtles movie should qualify as an act of treason. :P

People laughed Kinect out of the building, but Microsoft is the one laughing about that now. Xbox Smartglass is also a pretty damn good idea, and doesn't require you to get a new tablet/smartphone to take advantage of it.

    TheDud des ombres douces, c'est assez zinzin. je pense que les passages en foret font être fou. le seul hic pour moi : la route pavée dans les villages qui a pas un très bon rendu (compression de la video ?) (il y a 23 minutes)

    TheDud les decors, on voit des cascades avec de beaux rochers, une vegetation superbe, des arbres avec une vraie belle ecorse et un eclairage fou (les arbres qui filtrent la lumiere et projettent (il y a 25 minutes)

    TheDud je trouve les anim ratés en effet mais les visages paradoxalement hyper bien modelisé avec un magnifique sub surface scaterring et un bel "eclairage-hero" sur chaque PNJ. et que dire du plus important (il y a 27 minutes)
