Just caught up with SO episodes, slow start but now picking up very nicely

You read my post and come out swinging, as I show little praise for 343 lmao so predictable.

So finally finished Halo 4, First for the SP... I loved it from start to finish, the weapons gameplay story and boy those cinematics, it really got me excited about Halo again which after ODST and Reach disappointments, is a feat in itself.

Spartan Ops I'm still on the fence about, I loved firefight even though it was basically a gears horde mode, it was so much fun to play, and although I enjoy the bite sized missions of Spartan ops I felt each one did not last long enough, but I'm still excited for more. MP is a mixed bag as I love the weapons but not all the load outs and specs, hated them in Reach and even more here, all in all no one can deny 343 did a great effort, and like most quality delves lets hope there next instalment gets even better.

Everyone says that firefight was better than spartan ops, but.. i find firefight SOOO soulless and pointless, if it had a little story to it as well it would of been fine, but you can not compare it to HORDE mode, that was fun and had cool things to do and actually was a challenge, firefight online.. infinite ammo and even on harder settings with skulls near the end of a match its still a yawn..

they need to make a sense of challenge to it ... or have i played to much zombie mode?

I kinda like the story though.. but it is very resident evil in its approach.

But there is no sense of dread (see zombie mode) no stand your ground and build a base to withstand the next batch of bad guys (horde)

I know the Spartans are meant to be "uber" but you.. let us play as marines then and put is in a totally different perspective.. hell i would settle for a rip off of zombie mode using marines and flood...

Well i could not honestly say there out right shit, the guys who make those terrible share ware games.. there shit.

I had and still having a fantastic time playing this game.. but it has a HUGE amount of issues (mp) that need to be fixed..

Shit? no.. arrogant? fuck yes.

I jsut want better maps, they have to bite the bullet and give us some classic maps i know there avoiding as much as possible to "stand on there own" but at the minute there using crutches and there is a midget kicking them in the fucking nuts repetadly..

i hate ragnorak.. and that shatter map about it really i like the new maps, nothing "future classic" but there good fun.

I have no issue with the single player i found it everything i could want from a halo game.. yeah i suppose i could want more, but i'm a greedy cunt.

it cant be the logo on the box though could it? hell i slated the fuck out of reach during its development and after its release.. specially after they FUCKED up the lore as heavily as they did (seriously rewrote the first 3 books to fix it..i still have the old books bungie.. i see your errors..)

I slated ODST to high heaven because it did not feel like a halo game AT ALL
But later come to love it for that exact reason...

Halo 2.. what a utter mother fucking pile of shit "compared" to the first halo, single player was arse the soundtrack had to many fillers from "bands who are fans" and the MP same as Halo 4 it had many issues but i still fully enjoyed it.

Halo 3 was highly enjoyable but just did not feel as though they was advancing the story much, it felt stale.

But yes i follow the series (books etc) because the overall universe is absolutely fucking incredible, to me single player Halo 4 is the first game that has grasped it by the balls screaming.
And i can say that none have done that since the first, not for me anyway

But i understand it all depends on the person playing the game and the moments surrounding a game that make a game more than it is or less than it is.

I played Halo 4 with my little boy on launch surrounded by shit food and pop we had it full blast, windows shaking and screaming the house down in absolute mother fucking none pedophile sexual joy it was a amazing day and went from early hours till 2 in the morning when we completed it.

When I played Uncharted 1 i was down due to lack of money and life at the time was bringing me down, and that mother fucking JETSKI! almost pushed me over the edge of smashing the ps3, i hated the game with a passion absolutely fucking shit..
I gave it a chance about 6 months later due to people still raving about it and it is one of the best games i ever played.. go figure.

I dont want them to change there core mechanics far from it they just need fixing

And i want a old setting for old maps, this does not mean i want to play the old games, i just want that "mode" kinda like saying i been playing infinity slayer all day and want to play capture the flag for a change of pace and style and people telling me "if you want to play that fuck off and play reach"

I really like Spartan Ops the episodes and the coop maps, i have such a blast with mates, but i agree they could be a little longer, and yes as 343 first outing they have done a great job, bring on next gen Halo 5 :)
