Great tip on how to avoid the Salamun Market problem in Warzone
Game Data Utility > KZ3 Data 350+ MB > Delete, re-download the 1.03 patch, I think 27MB, enjoy till patch fixes that bug, won't get to play S. Market/Blood Gracht, but at least you will get the KZ3 maps + the [] map vote button back or keep playing, get the 7 trophies for that DLC pack

Good to know they increased the stamina for sprinting back to Killzone 2!

I was hoping they could patch in custom music like KZ2.

They should have definitely changed a few weapons from the classes, like Marksman still has the helghast AR which makes no sense.
Marksman is sniper, snipers are suppose to be this stealthy guys, not have full auto weapons.

After playing so much Crysis 2, I went back to play some Killzone 3, I got to say, (yes I am contradicting here a bit) I appreciate Killzone much more now, and I like it much more than Crysis 2.

The only thing that Crysis 2 does good that Killzone doesnt is the movement of the character, all thanks to the nanosuit.
But other than that, I prefer Killzone in everyway.
For me, Killzone isnt a universe I get tired of, I can always go back and enjoy the visuals and the atmosphere they create, but with Crysis 2 I am already bored to death (earth setting is killing it for me).

Technically, Crysis 2 is more advanced obviously, but for me the heavy space sci-fi and the fantastic artdesign triumphs more than real time this and that, I seriously dont care about that when GG makes such an amazing atmospheric sci fi world.

Even when you shoot its much better in Killzone games than Crysis, you truly feel an impact from the weapons then you use them, and the music is much better IMO. Has that John Williams sound to some of the tracks which is always a plus for me.

Now I played the MP, some of the stuff just pisses me off (just like any other MP lol)
I was playing Warzone and what pissed me off was that the other team was boxing us in our respawn zone, absolutely no way of getting out of there, and that was in Killzone 2 as well in a few maps.

There was only 2 holes from the Helghast respawn point we could use and both of them was covered with turrets, airdrones and just campers so anyone getting out would die within seconds, unplayable bullshit IMO.

Sometimes the hit detection is bullshit IMO, you can pump so many bullets in their bodies but yet they wont die, other times its quick and great (especially getting in those headshots), and I dont think they were wounded before it.
I keep shooting the shit out of the enemy but yet this "bulletsponge" nonsense takes effect and doesnt do shit, though when you kill an enemy, the best sound of "derp" plays, VERY satistfying.

But to be honest, the MP in Killzone is much better than Crysis 2, I do enjoy a good teamwork. No cloaking + camping, though the stupid "Infiltrator" class pisses me off the most!
I see Brink got alot of insperation from Killzone, especially the bullshit "Infiltrator" class but named "Operative" or something.

I wonder how long its gonna take until GG is gonna start patching the game with fixing the weapon balance issues...etc.

The big problem is the map designs. Like you said, its very easy to get stuck at a huge choke point and then get pushed right back into your spawn. This game more than most MP shooters requires people to play their roles, if you don't have good tacts, you will lose.

Thats why I chose to play mostly tactician, you can't rely on your teammates to do anything right. If you go into any random game assuming your teammates know what they're doing, you're an idiot lol

I am starting to like the Engineer more and more.
One thing I am also starting to get the hand of is the quick crouching and then hipfiring, the crosshair becomes so tiny and accurate.

Also, this week seems to be a Steel Rain DLC map, the Helghast campaign HQ base, I love that design, reminded me of the ISA ships in Killzone 2.

I'm with scoobs on this one. I almost always am the tactician b/c I get too pissed at my team for not setting proper spawns. It just drives me crazy. Probably one of my biggest gripes about this game isn't even the game itself but it's community. Never seen such a large crowd of players who don't "get" the whole teamwork thing. I feel like Battlefield is set up in a way, for w/e reason, that makes it easier for ppl to work together. Why that is I'm not sure but when you DO have a good team in Killzone 3 it's a very fun and satisfying experience.

shame that experience just isn't more often than not... I still really enjoy the game though, even if the SP was pretty lame IMO. MP is a blast when you have the right team.

I always go with Tactician as well, and I think people want to gain as much XP as possible to rank up faster, isnt that the most common thing in any shooter these days.

My only grip with the MP is the fact is one team dominates, the other team will be boxed in their own respawn zone, which makes is really hard to do any objectives.
And the Infiltrator, my god I just fucking hate it sooooo much!

Even as a Medic class, you should see a bar on top of the teamplayers, but once a Infiltrator comes there is absolutely no way to know for sure, unless they are close enough to kill you just so you see a red crosshair and name, which is by then too late to kill him.
I wish they could get rid of this class for good in Killzone 4, its a abnoxious class that ruins the MP the most for me. I always keep joking saying "might as well join my team and teamkill me" LOL

Whats bullshit is even Brink has "Infiltrator" as to disguise.
I HATE MP games were they can cloak or disguise themselves and "trick" you, by the time you know who they are they will kill you.
I want to see my enemies normally and go gun on gun with then and nothing else.

Its bullshit you have to keep checking your radar in every corner you tend to check and then when you see an "teamplayer" you check the radar againt o be sure.

I say, sometimes just shoot 1-2 bullets on every single player alone just to make sure :P

No team-kill thank god, people are like fucking XP hunters in this game, spamming their grenades and shoot all they have in tight spaces to get kills LOL

Annoying to waste bullets, but thats the safest bet, I usually forget LOL.
But I will try and do that, though it takes like a second to the disguise to wear off so you can continue to shoot.
The second their cover is blowned they will shoot all they got, happened to me a few times.

the mag for the AR is so damn small I hate doing that, I always run out of ammo before I get killed and hate hunting down an ammo dump. Just so annoying. The XP hunters do bother me in this game more than most, it just seems to take away from the teamplay more than many other shooters. shame.

But i think wasting 2-3 bullets when you see one of your team player alone and you are suspecious wouldnt hurt compared to being killed, though I do agree, its a bullshit way of being sure.
You keep doing this so much then your team thinks you are a fucking idiot for shooting your own team, makes you look bad.

The DLC is available for download from 6th April in Europe for €4.99 and from 12th April in the US for $4.99. It's free for PlayStation Plus members for the first month following release.
Perfect timing for me now that I am back into Killzone :)
As detailed on the game's official site, the Steel Rain pack consists of two new multiplayer maps. Junkyard is a Guerrilla Warfare map situated in a rain-drenched junk processing facility while Stahl Arms is set on the factory floor of one of Helghan's largest weapons manufacturing plants.
I am hoping its not a Guerilla Warfare exclusive maps :/

Why are they not adding custom music already!? Killzone 2 had it, I hardly think its difficult to do it on KZ3 as well.
They also should have tweaked some of the weapon balancing issues like Marksman has no right to use a Helghast assault rifle, at all!

PS. I really wish they could add character voices to MP, like COD, MoH, BC2, Crysis 2...etc. were you hear the characters in MP talk and give hints of warning and say various stuff, I love that, gets the MP games more intense.

Don't know if you own a 360 Sath but Reach has them as well. Just straight up invisibility+radar jam and another which deploys a hologram to where you point.

Annoying when you get caught out by them but can be so advantageous when you know how to use them. At least they don't change colour =)

The number of times I have use hologram on campers to get them to run after it and assassinated them is crazy.

Well I have come to love cloak in sci fi now!

I love the cloak effect Kerrigan does in the CGI intro for Starcraft 2, my absolute favorite.
Thing is, in Crysis 2, you can find the cloakers 2 ways.
1. nanovision, you see a slight blueish ghost like shape, shoot it lol.
2. there is a perk were it lets you find those who cloak, doesnt help much but still.

But in games like Killzone 3 its hard to spot a marksman unless the tactician's mark and spot ability gets them, sometimes it dont.

But overal, I love some awesome looking cloak ability!

I havent played Halo Reach (dont own a 360), but I have seen it in videos, gotta say, ugly cloak effect lol

Now disguise is just pathethic, I hate them!

Yeah the hologram is good in Crysis 2 as well, I feel so smart when I use them and see the enemy shoot while I just look where they are and shoot them quickly hehe.
