oh c'mon man. Kojima has made a serious effort to make MGS 4 more playable than past games. Offering a fully 3d camera, and 2 new additional POV's for use throughout the game, and you cant tell me that SC's setting, characters and technology are more interesting than MGS4's.
Yeh, i much prefer MGS gameplay over splinter cell, but i think hes referring to the graphical side of things, maybe?

SC has always been technically more impressive then MGS but I would have to say MGS has alway been better in the fun department.

Saying you cant find animaton in Japan is like saying you cant find food in Italy. Its simply not true.

Agreed, but MGS always made up for it with incredible production values I thought. Mindblowing cutscenes, incredible choreograpy/animation in cutscenes. The voice acting, creativity, story you name it. I'm well aware MGS4 is likely to kill any splinter cell game in all these categories, but I can't its more technically impressive.

Like I always say more tech doesn't mean superior.

Of course not. I loved MGS1 and I thought 2 was a let down. I havent played 3. I just really thought the MGS4 presentation looked totally boring.

To think I avoided MGS2 all these years from hearing how bad it sucked, but when I played it just last year for the first time it was easily one of the best games I've ever played.

I thought story was great I know people would be pissed that they didn't get to play as Snake though, but it was still really really well done.

There are a lot of things you can say about the MGS series, but "good story" is not one of them.

From what Ive read on various forums thats what people like about MGS, because the gameplay aint so great.

The story is good until it gets ridiculous........which in the case of MGS2, it's half stupidity, half good story.

Yeah I always check sensitivty first before I get my ass further in the game, but yeah I will get it. Always looked on billboards and posters on stores and wished I had it, and that was years back when it launched and I had Xbox only.

But yeah I will get it.

But I think MGS4 is much more interesting in terms of art and story than SC is, and that is what counts!
