Maybe because I didn't see it in the theater? I dunno? The cg was certainly just awful. Why do they use a CG baseball instead of just hanging a real one?
The whole thing was just boring, cg took you right out, and the Akira esq character freak out toward the end was just annoyingly angsty

Saw Lawless yesterday, thought it was really good. A few minor quibbles but, other than that, a fine movie indeed.

Tom Hardy is now my favourite actor, too. Consistently steals the show.

I'd recommend the BBC production of oliva twist too if you aint seen it, tom hardy plays a mean bill sykes. One of the best roles he's played imo.

Captain America wasn't AS bad as I was anticipating. The airplane scenario at the end was shit though, same with the final line.

I was bored way more by captain america, but both films where terrible. Just felt like lazy origin stories for the sake of avengers (where both characters where rightly shoved aside for the awesomness that is the hulk and iron man)

As a movie Thor was better, actors gave a damn, Director knew what was doing, cool sequences, only Portman was the weaker link up in there.

Captain America was just a mess in everything.

to be fair i found both movies to be equal in there lacking.
Still enjoyed them though..

Thor, son of odin, controls lightning and uses mjolinir to kick ass, his finally is in a small desert town....
