It blows The Hulk away. I'd lump The Incredible Hulk (2008) in with Iron Man, Spiderman 1/2, and X-Men 1/2 as yet another kick-ass Marvel movie. The Hulk (2003), while not as bad as Elektra, Daredevil, or The Punisher, is definitely quite a few steps below the new "requel."

And no gmulis, this new Hulk movie is in no way related to Ang Lee's artsy-fartsy Hulk.

The Strangers is also out and I think The Happening opens today in the US.
Do not see The Happening. I dunno WTF M. Night is thinking, but man, this movie was fucking terrible. I know he gets shit all the time for his movies since The Sixth Sense but I've always loved the atmosphere he creates in his films, especially Signs. It was as if he wanted the actors to act bad on purpose. Plus, they are running from fucking trees!I watched the R rated trailer before seeing it and it showed some graphic shit. Well it appears to have been completely cut from the UK version and the film is tame as hell. Really boring.

8 mile ( if you love freestyle and eminem this is a movie for you)

jumper (decent) plot was original but poorly executed

Equilibrium (saw it as comformity vs indivuality) reminds me of a book called the foutain head (howard roak vs elsi tooyeh) . masterpeice movie

Hulk (2003 version) the thing i liked about this movie was its serious tone, compared to other superhero movies

Agreed...the movie rocked pretty hard.

The X-Men movies were serious. The Incredible Hulk(2008) was serious as well. You may me mistaking boring with serious in that Ang Lee's Hulk was boring(though the action was pretty cool).

i have only watched parts of xmen movies so i can't make a conclusive decision, Hulk, you maybe right it was boring but it was for reason, unlike other superheroe movies this took its time to explain its protagonist origins and it wasn't his decision he became what he is unlike batman, superman, ironman, and spiderman. what seperates hulk from other superheroes is he is rejected by society

I'm pretty sure the first half of Batman Begins is just his Batman's origin. Iron Man also featured a hefty chunk devoted to his origin. Hulk didn't benefit from having the Hulk's origin delved into that much.

Fine, but I don't see what that has to do with Ang Lee's Hulk being boring. Seriously, go see The Incredible Hulk. It's better in almost every way, and it actually has a final battle that isn't completely retarded(giant energy monster FTL!).

The one about the killer sheep or the Chris Farley/David Spade one? The latter was hilarious!

The King of Kong. Awesome. I thought it was going to be good but I still didn't see it coming. I didn't expect a story about Donkey Kong champs to actually be moving. And my god, Billy Mitchell seems like such a douche. It's a bummer that he's reclaimed his title.

Indiana Jones 4, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and Raw Deal. Good movies. Jones 4 was a better than I thought it would be.

Were expecting it to be the absolute worst movie ever made then? I don't get how it could be better than you thought otherwise.

I just watched the new Futurama movie Beast with a Billion Backs. Typical Futurama, and therefore, it was fantastic!

The problem with the Futurama DVD movies is that they seem to drag a little. You could tell with Bender's Big Score where it would eventually be divided into episode format for television, and I think they're probably better off being watched that way.

I could see that, but I'm so starved for new Futurama that I'd gladly watch an hour and a half of Hypnotoad if that's all there was.

It's easily my favourite animated show. It might not have the same jokes/minute ratio as Family Guy or The Simpsons, but I definitely find the quality of the jokes much better.

I thought it was a good movie, WAAYYYYYY better than the first one... It felt less childish and it was much more entertaining!

The guy in the trailer (Caspian) looks really irritating. I guess I will see this at some point. Definatly in no rush to though. I just got around to watching Batman Begins last night. Holy crap. I really didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. Now I absolutely cannot wait for The Dark Knight now.

The Ruins (didn't like the way the natives where portrayed). imo it had solid acting, but failed to create suspense, lacked the scarey factor and looked predictable.

the ending though could be used for sequal

I can't see why people expected more considering the first wasn't very good at all.
