The Last Kiss. I wasn't too fond of the ending, but it was a pretty good movie; a lot better than I expected.

If that was aimed at me then I think you mis-understood my post. I saw Wall-E last weekend and I am going to see the Dark Knight this weekend.

saw hancock
( i can't believe it got 39% on rottentomatoes because of its unpredictability and lack of villian), now i understand why movies like incredible hulk or iron man get good reviews but a movie like this doesn't.

first thing first, this movie was bold risk, if it wasn't for solid actors (will smith and charlize theron) it could have turned worse critically and finacially.

I saw each Lord of the Rings movie about 6 times at the cinema. If you times that by 3, I saw the whole Lord of the Rings trilogy 18 times at the cinema.

while you math is good, your english isn't. i asked why watch it more than once at the cinema. the money you spent on each movie is enough to buy dvd and watch it any time you want

learn to comprehend next time ...thank you

I'm going to ignore your annoying comment about another person's english and answer your question

Movie experiences are completely different in a theater than anything you could experience on a dvd obviously. The immersion, sound, picture, etc. exceeds anything at home.

You can only see any movie for so long in the theater, after that it's all over.

Now if that movie is in an Imax like Dark Knight, thats even more of a reason since the movie is shot in Imax format as well.

All of that should be pretty obvious

Sorry.

Well I watched Dark Knight last night, but I won't bother posting my impressions on that because you can see them in the Dark Knight reviews thread (but I will just say if you haven't seen it, go watch it).

I watched War of the Worlds (modern version) about 3 nights ago - very good movie in my opinion, and Tom Cruise actually plays the part really well. I would recommend it.

In War of the Worlds, I hated 1 thing.

His freaking kids!
That son of his should be beaten up so damn badly for his emo behavior and trying to act "badass" in some scenes.

Then Dakota..for her damn annoying yelling and complains.

Other than that, pretty good.

I thought Hancock was awesome. Not sure what the problem was with the reviewers.

^^^ because it more plot/story oriented than other super hero movie that are action oriented

hancock uses action to support or enhance the story, while other movies like incredible hulk uses bits of story to enhance the action or why the hero is doing this or that

I'm with the critics this time. Exactly what I thought about Hancock as well:
Saw Hancock yesterday. It was average at best, it couldn't decide what it was in the end. It wasn't a comedy, I laughed 2 times - It was't an actionmovie, too little going on - and frakly it wasn't even a drama it could be, because the dramaturgic moments were very weak, almost non existant. I'm quite disappointed.
