Chronicles is a guilty pleasure at best. It's pretty shitty. I still like it, but, it's pretty shitty. Pitch Black is 100% more awesome, so just don't expect it to be as good as the original, and you might be able to enjoy it.

Also, play the videogame. It's fucking great.

yeah, beat the game before I watched any of the movies.

Got to say it's one of the best games I've ever played.

I give it the "Totally Awesome Doood!" award.

Okay I watched Wall-E, and well, they talked in a very "robotic" way and there was dialogue in it, but it was nice nontheless, very fun, enjoyed it alot.
I will definitely watch it again once it's out in HD, was so good :)

Next up is The Incredible Hulk...recommended from a friend, so I am gonna give that a shot (even though I don't like Hulk so much).
He wasen't a fan of Hulk either, but he got surprised of this one and sai I should check it out, so I will.

Yeah, The Incredible Hulk was very entertaining. It definitely had much better action than Iron Man but was still handled with a good deal of thought and care. I'd easily recommend it as well.

Saw a bunch of movies over the past couple weeks.

3:10 To Yuma - So awesome. One of my favorite westerns. Meant to watch it a long time ago, but I was forced to for class.

Death Race - I never saw the original, but really, vehicular manslaughter can only be carried so far. A nice action flick, nothing to write home about but it was pretty fun.

The 40 Year Old Virgin - I had only seen 20 mins of this at a party once, never the whole thing. Oh God, my sides. Only topped by the next comedy on my list...

Super Bad - Why do I see these movies so late? I don't know. I should have watched it when everyone kept asking me if I'd seen it. Hilarious. This movie also convinced me that cops can indeed be awesome.

Narnia 2 - I didn't like the first much at all. Not a bad kids movie I guess, the 2nd one was alright. Better than the first at least. If I were 10 years younger and never heard of LOTR, this might've been awesome.

Hellboy 2 - I didn't like Hellboy 1 at all. Not one bit. del Toro does a helluva a lot with the budgets he has, but it still feels very cheap. I'm interested to see a 3rd one in 5 years =P.

Teeth - Good God. I am pretty paranoid now. I need adamantium condoms nao.

The Incredible Hulk - Was alright, but I really wish they'd just stop trying to make Hulk movies. Unless they go for that *wink wink* storyline that they hinted on at the end. That shit could be amazing.

Wall-E - Such a charming film. I really felt for that tiny toilet. How people were so lazy in the future made me laugh.

You Don't Mess With the Zohan - I laughed. Another cookie cutter film from Sandler, but I laughed. I'm also taking Hebrew, so I was able to understand everything he said. Hokul`Beseid'r.

Tropic Thunder - So awesomely funny that I might have to watch it again. Downey Jr. did a great job making me believe he was really a guy who thought he believed that he was a guy who thought he was *explodes*. Stiller did pretty well, him playing a retard had me in stitches. Tom Cruise...good God, who's idea was that?! Give him ten million dollars! Playah.....playah!

Death Race 2000 is awesome. It's pure cheeseball win.

Hellboy 2 was good, but then again, so was Hellboy.

3:10 to Yuma is pretty great.. never saw the original, now I'm curious.

I haven't seen Death Race 2000, but it looks like it fails in every regard. The previews I've seen of it didn't make it look like it knew that it was a shitty, cheesy movie, but instead it gave the vibe that it was trying to be a good movie. Jason Statham should give up acting...or at least opt for decent roles. Crank was utter garbage, and Revolver felt like someone was trying to emulate Guy Ritchie...despite the movie being made by Guy Ritchie. Dungeon Siege was a cinematic abortion as well. Oh..and Transporter 2...*shudder*

Death Race 2000 is the original. The "remake" is just called Death Race.

Right. I actually knew that, but was blinded by rage at even the slightest possibility that you might have associated the new one with "win."

What's it about? The picture looks pretentious.

There's really no real story I guess.
It probably looks pretentious because it's basically an art film, but it's fucking epic
TRUST ME when I say it rules visually and conceptually

Is it about anything? Is there some kind of point to it? There must be a concept if it rules conceptually.

EDIT: K, so I just read a little bit about the flick, and I gotta say, it sounds absolutely retarded. I do have a huge bias against art films though...so that probably didn't help.

Saw The Incredibe Halk yesterdat...very cool (still don't like Hulk franchise), but as a movie this one was good.

When Tory Stark came over there...oh damn :D...espcially when I saw Ironed Man like 1-2 weeks ago, I got surprised, very cool camero.

I checked a froum saying that after the Iron Man credits Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) shows up for him to recruit him for S.H.I.E.L.D. or something.[/spoilers]

I guess all these are for the Avengers movie that is coming up, collecting a few heroes into one movie...hopefully it's gonna be good.
