Tropic Thunder (finally).

I know Ben Stiller has done some funny films but, I never imagined he'd come up with something that awesome!

one part that really caught me was the night before they were to invade the heroin factory, Robert Downy Jr. started to crack up, but they went with the take anyway.
I lol'd... hard.

Watched Brüno yesterday and was laughing tears - like pretty much the rest of the audience. It seems like a lot of people think most of if not all of it was acted. But how is that possible? The people who were confronted with Bruno were so genuine in what they said and what they looked like. For example the second exorciser who didn't let out a single prejudice of men against women.

Some seemed to know who he was (like the moderator of the show, the army bit was probably entirely scripted), but a lot of it was genuine.

I don't think it matters whether it was scripted or not; if it makes you laugh, who really cares?

There were parts that I believed to be acted and therefore I didn't laugh. So it did matter to me. But overall it was a very funny movie. So I'm not trying to put the whole thing down.

Only have 2 more episodes left to watch from Star Trek TOS season 1. Who the eff was it that said Romulans were the main bad guys? ONE freaking episodes featuring Romulans and it's made clear that neither Kirk nor Spock had seen them before. Might i add that that's equal time the Klingons were given. The movie was so totally not canon, and should have had klingons in it :P

I just finished digging through all Ghost in the Shell movies and series. God, it was complicated... I think I'd hardly be able to follow the plot in my mother language, the English dubs didn't make it easier. Anyway, it's a great series/movie with a lot of thought put behind it. Loved every bit of it, even the endless monologues kept me interested.

Watched: Tropic Thunder

I hadnt heard much about this one due to my prison sentence, but damn did it surprise me in the "funny area". Very good... The best character was of course Robert Downey jr and the worst was Jack Black. I really really dont see the "funny" in his acting/stuff...

Just saw the new Harry Potter and, well, liked it I guess. The new teacher was really nicely portraid and the lovesick youngsters was fun to watch. But I really didnt like the way they didnt focus at all on the book that Harry gets!

harry potter and the half blood prince : i've loved this series since the begining, and seeing how it has evolved and changed through the years is one of the best aspects of it. it's such a dark film now in comparrison to the first few films. really good tho, dont follow the books so it had quite a few surprises. kinda sucks the last part is split into 2 movies tho (one in 2010, one in 2011) but i guess it's worth it since i enjoy it so much. gonna be quite sad to not have a HP film ever year once it's all finished up.

The 6th book together with the 5th were the worst by quite a large margin, that's why I've not seen a single HP since the first. And the 7th was the darkest of them all. If you really mean that they have evolved the films to the better, maybe I'd give them a go after all.
