I went into Defendor expecting a comedy as well, but I stopped watching part of the way through after realizing it was more of a sad flick like you said.

Watched The Condemned last night. Horrible. I can forgive bad plots, cheesy writing, wooden acting, etc... in an action movie as long as there's good action. Unfortunately, pretty much everything about this movie was unforgiveably bad.

I watched The sorceres apprentice, was enjoyable film, my kids loved it, but the "kids" voice was SOOOOOOOOOOOOo fucking annoying
Also wathed Inception *bows* fantastic.

I couldn't in the entire movie, Theron its beautifull and that girl that played that was ugly as hell lol.

That says a lot about her performance, Oscar well deserved.

Just watched Universal Soldier: Regeneration. I'd easily recommend it to anyone who likes good ol' action movies.

Been watching the 1st season of Magnum PI. Awesome show if you can get around some of the dated aspects(ie clothes and fight scenes). I love it, and can't wait to track down season 2!...

I watched "buried" in the cinema. Fucking waste of time and money if you ask me.
I kept waiting for the final "Vanilla Sky/Six Sense" moment to arrive but it never came. Also didn't like that sudden "dead end stop" ending.

Watched V for Vendetta last night. Great film.

Loved the themes and issues brought up in it - plus Hugo Weaving's performance was awesome.

Watched the original Tron a few days ago. What a shitty movie. Minus the novelty its visual effects obviously had at the time of its release, it was devoid of redeeming qualities. I wouldn't suggest it to anyone looking for an enjoyable movie to watch.

Tron Legacy is pretty dissapointing minus one or two scenes that were really good. Otherwise the story drags so hard I got bored fast

The Crazies remake should get some kind of award. That stuff was awesome.

Guess I'll have to watch the original now, though I keep reading it sucks.

Watched The Road last night. It's a masterpiece!

The music and cinematography in particular just blew me away; the best I've seen in a while. Viggo never fails to astound either.

Unstopable, expected a speed rip off, so i was expecting speed 2 with a train instead lol

Wow this movie was so much better than i expected (soundtrack was shit, HGW was been a lazy bastard that month) excellent movie, recommend to everyone.

Just took the plunge and watched Twilight. Visually ridiculous, story that sucks, awful characters and the worst kind of superficial romance...i'm ripping this thought straight form some internet reviewer (Distressed Watcher maybe? I can't remember) but it's so true; the estrogen infused equivalent of a stupid 80's action movie.
