..totally doesn't compute with...

...unless the The Transporter vibe is like 95% of it.... and not Transporter 3.

It's weird though. The previews are doing absolutely nothing for me for this movie, but it's been getting pretty glowing reviews. Definitely interested in seeing it on reivews and word-of-mouth.

Well its like the transporter premise (a driver for different jobs), but has that high quality chilled out vibe of donnie darko and lost in translation, advise you watch it, brilliant.

I watched Kick Ass last night.

It was pretty decent, but I probably think that cause the amount of praise it recieved, making me raise me expectations of it. It was alright.

I'll vouch for Troll Hunter. Liked it a lot, even when it was trying to be Blair Witch Project. The main guy was very likable realistic guy, and despite dealing with fantasy creatures it was done with as much realism as possible.

I rented the new Transformers today. I plan on being mind numbingly entranced by some giant robot visuals

It had its moments. Definitely better than TF2, but the Shia Lebouf scenes are a chore. Just like TF2, thousands of robots come parading out of Michael Bay's ass for no reason. I really liked the first, and it will remain the best.

Last part of Transformers 3 is the best part, you seen it in the trailers, the whole city being a robot war playground.

The problem with that "part" is that it's 50% of the freaking movie. You expect it to end but it never does :P

Wait...so what's the problem exactly?

As long as there's a ton of awesome action, I don't have to endure any of those awkward, forced angry-Shia parts(the fault of which I place on Bay, not Shia who I quite enjoy as an actor).

I don't know, the hour and a half long climax to the movie just made it suck ass. You need to build up then have a payoff, not just spend an hour building up and then try to keep the pace for another hour and a half. Doesn't work. Turns the action into a boring drag ultimately. Thats one of the big problems with Transformers 3 imo, the pacing is utter shit.

Also i didn't care at all for the characters so all sort of drama and suspense was just gone, making the action even more pointless. Marine guy sliding down the floor, possibly falling out a window? I guess i should find it exciting but tbh i just don't give a fuck if the guy dies or not, so all the tention in the scene is utterly dissolved. Same goes for all the characters. They could ahve launched the autobots into the sun for real and i would have thought it a better movie.

Yeah there were a lot of parts that seemed really stupidly drawn out. Like when the building was toppling over while they were all inside. SO BAD

The sequence with Starscream was pretty retarded too.

Disagree 100%

That was an awesome, inspired action scene. If I'm going to the movies in the summer, that's the kind of stuff I want to see. That one scene provided more than all of Battle:LA.

Seems my decision to not go and see it was a good one, I actually didn't like Tranformers 2 and there's not one reason to go see T3...
I rather see a film that has a great story instead of the blam blam micheal bay movies... (Although I enjoy those 2, but that depends on the mood)
