Disagree 100%

That one scene provided more than all of Battle:LA.
Smurfs probably had more good action than that did.

Okay so I just got done watching two mockumentary style horrors.

The Last Exorcism - Kinda creepy!

Paranormal Activity 2 - quite a bit more creepy!

edit
God, our rating system is all screwed up. The Last Exorcism deals with possession, rape and incest, has bloody pentagrams on walls, demon babies thrown in bonfires, animals slaughtered, etc, all on top of giving you jump scares... and it's rated PG-13. (Granted, it's hard to take any of that stuff seriously, and I'm exaggerating a bit for effect.)

Paranormal Activity is rated R, and all it has is shadows, doors opening and closing, and people being pulled around by an invisible evil thing. Well, I guess there's some possession going on there too.
No gore or controversial subjects.

Wtf, if I had a 13 year old child I'd much rather them see Paranormal Activity 2, even though it's, like, twice as scary and they wouldn't be able to sleep for a week :D

Green Lantern - It had its moments. Really liked the whole Fear/Will dynamic and how it was a part of Halo Jordan. Lamest villain in history though, and most anticlimactic super villain. Made the GL Corp out to be a bunch of useless scared pussies. Didn't care too much for Ryan Reynolds, but he did a decent job. Overall better than I thought, but I had low expectations.

Despicable Me - Really, really liked it. Those little yellow blob things are soooooo cute.
The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus - Thought it was pretty terrible to be honest. Muddled, confusing, relatively unexciting. Good cast though.

I think you answered your own question there :) That kinda gives me more respect for 'em- like they are looking at psychological impact as well. Interesting.

I've been watching the first season of Walking Dead (on Netflix!). LOVE it. Fantastic show that pretty much stomps all other zombie movies/shows...

It actually shocked me with how good it is. Super gory, great writing/scenarios, dramatic, and produced to a rare level for a TV series. The way they incorporate the music takes it up a notch as well...

Alien

Again

Directors cut

Again

given the age of this film i go in every time thinking "wont be as good as i rem when i watched it the other year" and every time i just go ...wow, this shit is fantastic, never gets boring and the effects stand up to today's standards, well minus the explosion at the end.

3 and 4 aint that bad really..
3 has shoddy cgi and 4 has shoddy story, aside from them two things there entertaining and a world away from the AVP portrayal of the poor xenomorphs :(
