Dont know if you could class it as a horror, scifi thriller maybe? i went into it thinking apollo 18 and came out very happy (apollo 18, was a bit, well..meh, it should of come out about 10 years ago for more dramatic impact)

Green Lantern - It had its moments. Really liked the whole Fear/Will dynamic and how it was a part of Halo Jordan. Lamest villain in history though, and most anticlimactic super villain. Made the GL Corp out to be a bunch of useless scared pussies. Didn't care too much for Ryan Reynolds, but he did a decent job. Overall better than I thought, but I had low expectations.
Pretty much sums up my thoughts. My wife started it with me last night (I saw it last week) and she said, "This isn't that bad." Then I told her, "Good, because that is the whole story!" The story isn't bad, but only an inch deep. e.g. Hal and his GF had a decent dynamic but it seems like some of the support characters (the Latern trainer, his friend in real life, etc) aren't developed at all. The enemy isn't well developed at all either.

Hopefully they make a sequel, with no writers, and the Yellow Ring comes into view with an epic battle of Hal versus a ton of Laterners-turned-Yellow-Villians.

Saw The Rum Diary last night. It was good. Not great, but definitely good, especially if you're a bit of a gonzo fan.

Oh, and that woman... Amber Heard... goddamn gorgeous.

Syrira.. how ever you spell it, wow this movie made me feel thick as fuck, i just did not understand a fucking thing that was going on, great acting but..confusing :(

Paranormal activity 3, i was watching this with a "screamer" fuck me made the movie entertaining, overall better than the second equal with the first, that constant panning camera was pure brilliance.

i like the guy but most his movies are arse, transporter was enjoyable 2 and 3 was ..meh crank 1 and 2 are ace, mechanic.. absolute shit, lock stock i love (but thats not exactly him who makes it) snatch was alright..
Christ.. that's all i can think of lol, i know he made more, but they must be to shit to recall.. he still is Agent 47 to me after transporter 1

I love how he got in the business, guy richie saw him flogging dodgy gear outside harrods in london and gave him his card and asked him to audition (hence the start of lock stock, he is doing exactly that in the movie)

*edit*
god bless IMDB
Expendables i loved, i love the scene on the court where he knocks shit out the woman beater, quality.
Blitz, great movie, amplified by paddy considine (have you seen dead mans shoes plumb? fucking awesome)
death race ...
war.. terrible.

I agree with you on most of those things except one;

Snatch is by FAR the best Guy Ritchie movie out there!

feels like lets be honest.. lock stock two..
rocknrolla was better than snatch imo, if anything just for the gay scene with gerad butler, i cried the house down laughing.
and sherlock holmes was a damn fine movie.

Still like Lock Stock better than Snatch, but that was good too :)

Saw Contagion the other day, it was pretty good imo. The climax was maybe a bit lacking, but it was an interesting movie overall.
