Oo i watched Trick R Treat, been a fan of creepshow (quality oldschool shit) this is brilliant, imagine creepshow filmed today, loved it.
Really good movie!
I had to make a purchase a couple years ago; it's now my go-to movie for Halloween night.
Which reminds me, I still need to pick up the Creepshow films.

I should have done more research and bought the Warner version of Natural Born Killers DC, instead of the old TriMark version.
Supposedly the Trimark version (from like 18 years ago) was transferred straight from the 2 laser disk version without much fidgeting, so there's no anamorphic widescreen support. Whereas later, Warner got the rights to the DC in 2009 and did the picture quality proper.

The Trimark version is in a similar quality to my version of The Hitcher, so I guess maybe I can find a better copy of that movie too, if anyone decided to do it.

They both (NBK-DC and The Hitcher) look hideous! :D but are more than watchable, and the film still kicks very much butt.
Decent extras too.

Down the line I'll get the Warner version, maybe even their BD copy

In other good news, though, I did grab a good copy of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (original) and the Divimax 25th Anniversary edition of Halloween, so I'm not sad.

Yeah, im actively avoiding a serbian film. Doesn't sound like something i need to see, and certainly not the kind of horror that i eenjoy tbh :p

I guess its awesome if you are in to horrifying rape?

excessive rape, how can sane people make this is beyond me, this is not sexual nudity which i dont mind, but raping your own son, or dead people or new born babies or showing pedophilia acts is disturbing.. there is nothing scary in this movie, just gross

Blazing Saddles is awesome.

You should try Mel Brooks' other stuff, like Dracula: Dead and Loving it. It's hilarious.

It is really shit. I found it boring as well, which is something a superhero movie (or indeed anymovie) should feel like

It was better than Thor and Green Lantern, but I have been sorely disappointed with every super hero film this year other than X-Men First Class.

I don't know about Green Lantern but Thor was way superior than CA way more fun and way better performances all around IMO.

I actually though Captain America was quite good. Sure it wasn't as action packed as the others and there were some pretty stupid moments but all in all i think it was quite enjoyable. Felt a bit more convincing than Thor (though i liked that one too). Iron Man is still the best of the avengers so far :)

Both Thor and Captain America were rushed, budget slashed made-for-tv grade previews designed to simply setup The Avengers movie. Both were so cheap it was unfunny. Iron Man is fantastic because it was designed as a stand alone film, not some cash-in hype up.

I liked the non-action parts of both Thor and Captain America as I liked the cast in both, but goddamn the action sucked in both. Thor vs Destroyer in a small desert town should have been cool as shit with wide-angle shots of people getting thrown through buildings and what not... but instead, it was completely pedestrian. As for Captain American, the special effects during the action scenes made them feel like they were from fake movie trailers at the beginning of Tropic Thunder. Also, Cap is a pretty lame superhero.

Avengers is going to suck hard.

Yes. I loved it, and it was the first movie I've just had to purchase after seeing it in a long time. It wants to be in my collection.

I thought the action scenes of Thor was great, though it was all visual effects (which I like lol, for example that huge tornado with Thor being in the air. Or when he slams his hammer on the ground and creates a huge shockwave, loved it).

Just seems like a current trend, shit action scenes with no impact. A lot of movies seem to fall in to that category nowdays it seems. If nothing else the hectic cutting of many movies just wreck what could otherwise have been good action sequences.

As for super 8 it was a fun movie, really. The only thing i didn't like was the last 15-20 minutes where it just went in to stereotype overload.
