MS confirmed that you can have complete install games on your HDD (you still have to have a game in your DVD drive). No more disc spinning, no more noise while playing :D (fans in my xbox are quiet). Awesomesauce

· Play from hard drive. Copy your games from the game disc and play directly from the hard drive. Not only will the drive not spin, but load times are quicker, as well. Of course, you will still need the disc in the tray to prove you own the game.

· New display support. Because you asked for it, we are adding 16X10 over VGA or HDMI, and support for 1440x900 or 1680x1050.

This is some of the best news to come out of E3. It's so incredible.

Wow Star Ocean 4's graphics are unbelievable!!!

Best looking Next Gen J-rpg hands down.

Art direction looks incredible too.

Dashboard update looks and sounds awesome, so glad i got an elite now, needed the hdmi and wanted to get a black console to match everything else, now that big wasted HD will be utilised.

So stunned by that announcement at the end along with the likes of fables, banjo, gears, IU, RE5 and LR. Really looking like a very strong end to the year, to think everyone was thinking about how few games MS announced for 08 last year at E3 and here we are with a phenominal end of year lineup along with a good few biggies next year.

EDIT: Oh, and bungie is still to make their announcement...things can only get better...hate waiting though :(

Only thing now is that my PS3 is lookin more and more like a bad purchase, BR discs still cost too much and MGS4 is already out. Heres hoping sony can come up with some decent announcements of their own and actually stick to them.

Oh ok, then they got it.
They definitely have because that game was great when I played it on Wii.
This is definitely the type of survival shooter game I want and wanted it since RE4.
2009 though, not bad when I think about it because there are plenty of games this year I need to get.
