I went from 1.50 to 2.7 to 3.40 OE-A to 3.90 M33 and I never had a problem.

Yesterday I got Monkey Islands 1&2 to work Yay :D Today I am going to see if I can get more LucasArts games to work.

So I just got FF: Crisis Core, and I'm just curious, to anyone who's beaten FF7 Didn't Zack just get wasted in FF7, like, shot to ribbons like an insignificant character? Does that mean I should care less, or more? This is gonna sound dumb, but I thought the guy on the cover was Cloud :-\

Not to mention you can guess by my question above, I don't have all the knowledge in the world on FF7 (beat it eons ago), will this make the game impossible for me? I'm already confused and I just started it.

he got owned prior to FF7(Playstation). He just appeared in flashbacks and conversation in FF7. Crisis Core (and the OVA anime) cover the events prior to where FF7 kicked off...well as far as the story of Zack, Cloud, crazy Sephiroth, and their life at Solider go.

as for it being impossible to play, eh not really. They've changed/milked the FF7 story so much that it doesn't really matter anymore.

I just recently upgraded my firmware to Dark Alex's latest. I was almost scared to do it after hearing about your new brick, but everything went off without a hitch.

It's nice, but to be honest I'm not even sure what I gained in the process. I hadn't touched my PSP in a while and I figured it was time to get back into it. Maybe even let DJ Max kick my ass again.. I'm hesitant to play DJ Max though, since a friend's dog ate my fucking headphones and the game is so much better when you're not playing off of the PSP's built in speakers.

I was quite scared too when I first time upgraded my PSP. I didn't have pandoras battery so I had to open my battery and do horrible things to it. Luckily you can revert pandoras battery (PSP slim battery only) back to normal by using pencil + couple nice masking tapes.

I have to say that I haven't used my PSP that much. Some Monkey Island gaming and that's about it.

Did you try pandoras battery kenshin? You said something like you are going to try it. I am just interested to hear if it worked.

I was, but decided not to. I'm just waiting on the God of War PSP bundle right now.



However, this new one coming out in the fall looks good as well. Still, I ain't buying no Madden PSP garbage in order to get it.

That is very nice.. it's a shame that all the cool colors are bundled in the US.

I'm still not replacing my PSP. I don't care how sexy the new model is, mine is already hacked and perfectly functional the way it is. Is there less blurring on the screen w/ 2D software? No? Okay then fuck it.

I'd have to sell my old one, and lose money in the process. What a hassle. I'd rather buy a DS.

yeah, I would have needed someone with a CFW PSP in order to use the Battery anyway. It would have been a no problem before I moved, but since I did, I don't know many people that have a CFW one. They all have the official ones. So yeah, was kind of a lost cause.

Missed the second video the first time I checked the site. So Clazziquai edition is for PSP and Technika is for arcade. Still need more info about this...

DJ Max rules. I love it when rhythm games don't require expensive plastic instruments to play ;) The new DJ Max arcade game looks.. odd. Touch screen interface? Hmm.. don't see that coming to the PSP!

I wish they didn't close down DJ Max Online. I want it back :(

Yeah I just saw video of the arcade version. Seems like a bit Ouendan style but with that line passing. Hmm not sure how fun it is but I think I don't need to worry about that. Never going to get to play one anyway...

I don't see DS version coming either. Too few memory on those game cards :/

PSP version better be good :P Dj Max was one of the reasons I bought PSP. Yes DJ max Online was great. Much more easier to play than PSP version. PSP is just so tiny that it starts to hurt fingers when you play too much.

I was updating my old 3.71 M33-4 PSP to a newer version today and well I messed up something... glad I made the back up so I was able to restore the old version back and try the update again after some tweaks. If I don't mess up again I should be using the newest firmware soon. So yeah, remember to back up before updating and pandora's battery rules.

I'm still on an original PSP and have no real concept of what Pandora's battery is or does. I should update my PSP, but.. back ups? Firmware restore? Pff.. in my day you'd just brick the thing and get it over with! ;)

Heh well you don't need to take the back up ;D

I am not really sure what pandora's battery is but I know that I had to do the first one with a knife and now I only needed to press X :p

All you need is a battery and specially made memory stick for it. When you put the battery to PSP it automatically start and if it finds that memory stick it opens files there. In this case update menu with back up restore and even usb mode to make some changes.

Newer version uses that net update utility... Press X to DL and then run like the official update. A bit too easy :p

Holy *bump*!

It looks good, but I really don't see the appeal personally. Who wants to play a driving "sim" on the PSP? Is logitech going to come out with a high end racing wheel for the unit next? Ridge Racers 2 and Wipeout will probably continue to be the best racers on the platform... unless Motorstorm is amazing.

I am most highly anticipating Rock Band Unplugged. The game looks great.
