Gamersyde est un site de média-information consacré à l'actualité du jeu-vidéo consoles et PC, et spécialisé dans la production et diffusion de vidéos de haute qualité à très haut bitrate dans leur résolution et framerate d'origine. À l'heure où la compression vidéo exagérée devient de plus en plus la norme sur Internet, Gamersyde est le dernier petit village gaulois à encore résister à l'envahisseur Youtube. Toutes les vidéos sont disponibles en téléchargement et en streaming, jusqu'en 4K et 60 images par seconde dans les deux cas, et dans une qualité largement supérieure à celle de Youtube pour le streaming. Oh, and like everyone else is saying, getting hit by stuff off screen is beyond frustrating. Especially when it stops you mid combo.
And Sath, your totally right, the subway boss and the water boss both sucked. Not very fun at all. All I did was shoot the stupid things with a charged bow and used ninpo in defense.
Other than all that bitching and moaning I really am enjoying the game. The fast paced action and difficulty really is what makes this series. Playing a game on cruise control can be fun sometimes, but other times you need a game like ninja gaiden to make you give everything you've got. A real sense of accomplishment playing this game.

Inscrit depuis 7360 JoursI'm playing Acolyte difficulty after being scared by all the reviews and fearing to get stuck later on in the game. I have to say that so far, the game is EASY on that difficulty. I'm on chapter 3 right now, but again, easy thus far. The only time I had issues was the boss in level 2, and yet I beat it with the things I had on hand on my first go.
In other words, I haven't died, and for the most part I'm never even CLOSE to dying.
The bad:
Graphics are "alright", it is true that Hayabusa village doesn't really look much better than it did on Xbox, it's basically a high res version of it and that is all.
Camera is the same as NG, not good by any means, but it can be dealt with, nothing to cry about up to chapter 3, and there were some tight areas there.
The awesome:
The freaking gameplay!!! I can't believe it, for the kickass gameplay alone, this game deserves an 8. Freaking bad ass! There is just NO GAME that comes even close to this game's gameplay, even with the problematic camera.
Music is really good as it was in NG.......95% of the time.
@ Sath, I don't know man, those archers thus far are not a problem to me in Acolyte difficulty. Go straight at them, stop them from shooting with shurkens, keep moving to sides, jump on a wall, jump, cut their heads off, next. In case of many attacking, just keep away from archers, there is usually always an area where they can not see you.
Anyways, that is my impression up to chapter 3. Awesome game, as it is a score less than 8.5 is underrating this kickass game.

The off screen attacks, the varying levels of cheapness in the bosses, frame rate slow downs, inconsistent loading in some levels. It's all over the place. As far as difficulty goes, I guess the moral of the story is stick to Acolyte to really enjoy the game!

And the archers, you can't throw shurikens at them so they get "stunned" by the time you get there, they still shoot :S
On top of that, why isn't their any different arrows, like wtf is that all about?
Why is there only weird stupid looking thing on the end of it?
Where is the explosive arrows or those ADSD or whatever its called, they would work brilliantly for those the high-tech armored fiends.
Don't get me wrong, the game great but a 8.5 is definitely what it is, but it would get a 9 if the damn difficaulty wasen't so cheap.
The difficaulty on NG for the first time for me was hard as well but it
took me weeks to figure out alot of things to master it, so I will give it more time for sure.
But my main reason is still the Ninja Cinema ability.
I was REALLY looking forward to watch videos from others on my friendlist and so they could see mine as well.
I don't want to see the videos from pros on leaderboards do their thing, even if I want to see it, it will take me ages just to keep flickering the list so I reach the top, it sometimes even freezes so I have to restart the 360 for it.
There are alot of great veterans on NG gamers on youtube that doesn't run Karma or anything but plays amazingly, or just for fun.
I thought this video feature would be cool to see guides for bosses and enemies, or to fight crystal skulls...etc. but this is a joke, way to ruin a feature!

Inscrit depuis 6740 JoursSo far the game is superb, love the fighting. The only problem is the camera, I think it's actually worse than in NG because NG2 is way faster. It was pretty bad when i started out, after the second level it's not a problem tho as you get used to it.
The boss at the end of level 2 was a very good fight (the first was waaaay too easy, after Murai in NG I expected something else...^^). It felt like a propper Ninja fight, a lot of studying of the various moves but it's usually not a problem to evade the attacks. Haven't seen any "cheapnes" yet as someone here said. As long as you know the moves and the enemy patterns it's all right. I breeze through the enemys with UT attacks, the finishers are very time/life saving as well.
