I think i also kind of try to rationalize it to myself by thinking that quitting has such low impact in a game like this.
You're still not the random teammate I want when things go south. You're playing a multiplayer game. Don't shit on someone else's experience. It still has an impact on the people you left to suffer through the rest of the round. I was on the receiving end of that more than a few times last night. How hard is it to tough out a ten minute game? There should be a cool down to your ability on rejoin queue.

But at least we can agree that quitting is bad even though you're still going to rationalize it.

I don't really understand why Overwatch makes people so salty.

If your healer was Zen this is normal because Zen isn't a healer.

If your healer was Mercy she should kill herself.

getting stuck with healer kinda blows admittedly
Which may be reason for them to give some sort of buff to their weapons so they're more viable
Everyone just wants to play offensive based characters

I don't know, i think it's fun to be a healer on a team that does what it's supposed to do. On a team where everyone is just standing in the corner jerking off, hoping to snipe out a few extra kills, instead of winning the game? It's boring as fuck.

Lucio apart from been a great healer he can do some decent damage.. I have got some good dmg stats with Lucio on the Beta.

I can understand some people not playing Mercy if they don't feel like healing all the time though.

This is something that also boggles my goddam mind in pub games. Everyone plays like a retarded chimp for the entire game, then it goes in to over time and all of a sudden, every one brings their goddamn a-game, capture for a bit and then lose anyway because it's hard to hold the objective uninterrupted for the full duration. Why are people so fucking stupid? Paly to win from the start!

I think this is why the game is so frustrating to me, it's like watching a retard trying to push a square block through a round hole 90% of the time. In DotA this doesn't happen that often, because the skill cap is so high that even the worst players at least know how to play the game.

I think maybe in their tutorial mode they should have made players go through some form of teamwork challenge.
It sounds stupid, but just making people practice their aim, movement, and ult is so shallow with what you need to understand.
Make someone learn combos, or how to use the different classes out of their comfort zones first.
Blizzard could have done more to explain what their game was to the consumer. Some people still use the word moba when even conversing about the game for some reason.

I feel like most people in the game are just soloing, granted they are just pubs in the end

Quick play has pretty good MMR. I don't see what the problem is.

I think Blizzard's match-making is pretty good. I have a fair number of close games.

Maybe it's my ego talking, but i have below 50% win rate, and i rarely feel like i'm the weakest link. When things are going south i usually try to swap characters to something we need and ask that other people do the same. Then everyone just picks Hanzo and Widow anyway.

I've found the matchmaker is pretty good overall. Haven't had many issues. Just keep trucking, if you are as good as you think, you will start winning.

I've gotta tell ya... Overwatch in 1440p 144hz w/ Gsync is just about the most beautiful thing my eyes have ever had the pleasure to view. Then I played Witcher 3 Blood and Wine and that game immediately stole the show. Holy shit.

I hope so. In the last 5-10 games or so i'm getting MVP, on fire, POTG and upvotes all over the place.

But don't get me wrong, i'm terrible at the game in general, it's just that i think i'm down rather low in the MMR trech right now.

I'm pretty much right at 50%, a little more

I feel like when you're playing with randos the game works in such a way that you can't streak very long.
Some form of rebalancing that occurs between matches and people get shaken up between the squads.

Also do we really get a different amount of xp at the end of the round for losing? Sometimes it feels the same for just playing the game

The game uses a form of MMR. You're being matched with players at your skill level. That's why you can't streak very long.

Plenty of my rounds are close. That is a good result. The system is working (I think).

Oh yeah I know it's working.
I'm just saying that you can find a good team that you win handily with, but shortly after it scrambles players and kills your chemistry sometimes
Just wish it would allow you to stay with the same players kinda

Yeah it definitely scrambles teams (sometimes). I've had good groups stick together for more than a few rounds but it was just random. You could always invite them to group up I guess.
