I got Mercy's Witch skin today.

I did get Reaper's twice... and a legendary gold drop :/

The answer for me was to start playing Mei more on defence. :D
Mei is very good right now, but I'm never sure where she fits in to the comp. When she's good, she's great.

I think you need solid Mei players too.

Back above 3000 again.. for now. And I got Reaper's legendary again.

I'm looking forward to Blizzcon period. There's a lot to celebrate this year.

And I'm sure we'll finally get to see some new content for Overwatch too.

Top 4% heals per minute in season 2 and people still don't vote for my card. Or trust Lucio's heals. Support carries you fools! Respect! We're all going to suffer when they nerf my healing 10%. That's like.. 1000+ heals per round. People are going to die!

I've been playing other roles more in S2.. especially when I dip into platinum games. I play DPS when our DPS fails, and I love playing D.Va on KOTH. I'm 9-1 with D.Va but only play her on KOTH. I can't wait for her second round of buffs. I might wind up playing her a lot more.

Just hope the new map is...well, more new. I was a little disappointed with Eichenwald. It plays just like all the other maps, so it feels mostly like a cosmetic thing. I really hope they get more creative with the maps in the future.

I mean I get that it's a regular gametype.. but all maps that are the same gametype play the same? It has plenty of unique level design. They did promise another mode soon. I'm not sure if it's the next map or not.

No i get that they play similarly, obviously. It just feels like they all are structured in the exact same way. Every map has the same choke points at the same places and all have the same kind of flow to them. Would be fun to see them try to mix that up a little.

There is definitely familiar design across the board, but I disagree that they're structured the same way. Do all hybrid maps have chokepoints? Yes. Are they the same chokepoints? Certainly not. If you play a flanker you'll become pretty familiar with some of the differences. The devil's in the details. They're not identical layouts. But sure, they follow a sort of outline.

It might not be a hybrid map.

That's it for this events grind. Got a Bastion halloween dupe today. Bought Ana and Pharah and got Reaper. Still missing Mercy (doesn't really matter cause I never play her but the skin looks good) and Roadhog. Took alot of hours though so I'll probably take a break from OW for a while.

Aren't those loot boxes still an option beyond the event? I noticed you could still access the Olympics one?

If you bought them during the event I think you can open them after the event. The boxes will not drop after leveling up when an event has ended though. I haven't bought a single loot box yet though.

You can? You can't buy them.

They only have regular loot boxes in the store: https://us.battle.net/shop/en/product/game/overwat...

And you can't unlock any of the event stuff, but they'll probably open them back up in the next Halloween event.

So far she seems pretty rad. Her traversal is really interesting.
Her gun feels awesome

I don't fully understand what her hacks do to each character yet! But we'll see


As D.Va though I definitely witnessed my self destruct get interrupted, and I couldn't get back into my mech right away
