man, Nier Automata fans will eat this crap up like there is no tomorrow.

But by god, using this outline cellshading, and using bad/no AA at all, the jaggies/shimmeringa and artifacts are really such an eye sore.

Going for that anime cartoon trope i see, the whole futuristic cyberpunk judge dread look could really pass without the androgynous spiky pink hair cartoon character.

The graphics are good and with lots of effects, but with the aliasing and the 30fps, even if I had a Switch, I'd rather hope to buy it for another platform that it hopefully gets ported to at some point in the future.

I'd been intrigued by this title, but this footage looks fantastic. Really, really impressed.  Quite the opening to the game, and what I've heard about later developments has me only more intrigued now.

There's definitely AA. Even quite decent AA. It'd be far worse if not. It does seem to struggle with subpixel specular detail in the distance, though. As far as the pink hair, that's player choice, so not exactly a deal breaker if you dislike it that much? As far as being cartooney. Sure? It's clearly very anime influenced. I'd say that works for it, though. Doesn't work for everyone though, of course. That said, Platinum's work rarely does.

Aside form the aliasing this has better graphics than Nier Automata. Really looking forward to this. Thanks for the videos!

This really is shaping up to be something special. All previews i checked are quite glowing and surprisingly people are in love with the side stuff in the game - exploration, puzzles, solving cases etc.

It's definitely a direction i would like Platinum to focus from now on. I love me some character action games, but it was a time for them to shake up the usual formula.
