Yeah, but you have to play it on a 360. Two CTD in a few minutes.. but I'm back in and I see no issues. I'm going to blame the config editing I just did. Just trying to make the game look a little better. I did notice my mouse is traveling to my other desktop while I'm playing, which is occasionally causing me to click on another window and lose focus on Skyrim.

Even when your game crashes you still find a way to throw crap at the 360 or PS3 lol.

Loving it so far :D got my chores out the way so had a chance to play it for a few hours, (ps3) awesome, just awesome.
I was getting annoyed with spell swapping till i noticed you could apply them as faves and quickly flip them :D fucking awesome. heal-burn-raise dead

And? Stupid jab for stupid jab. And I've seen New Vegas tank a 360 quite a few times. Games crash.

And lord knows I don't need to remind anyone what system failure means on the 360.

you should try GOTY edition of fallout 3, whole game is brilliant, until you hit the DLC, totally unplayable, constant full on crashes and corrupt save data, never done all the DLC, because after the 4th lockup in the space of ten minutes i launched the disk in the bin.

I havent had any issues on 360, other than the damn texture streaming!

Also, of course a PC will crash if you fiddle around with the config manually. Its a trial and error with those things. Happened to me with Crysis 2 until I went with its normal settings and no issue.

You mean the cache thing or the non install thing?
Because I did both, didnt fix, issue remained.

Besides, I rather have quick loading, less hiccups during menu and game than textures goes away...for now!
Bethesda said they are checking into it.

I haven't spent a single perk yet. I just don't know what I want to do. I wish you could respec. Can you respec?

And weird! I think it's this location on the map that's crashing my game.

@ Sath: Worked for me and everyone i gave it to? 1)delete your install 2) del mem cache 3) run game from disk it will ask you to download the 3mb patch again, then continue your game, textures should be fine.

I def have to use my perks, or i'd be killed in most battles (run out of magika) think i might have to come down to Adept level?, not sure about the respec of perks?

Sure but sadly due to consolisation you can't equip more than 2 spells, although I think Oblivion was the same. (I'll have to play around with my favs but have most of my potions set up on those)

Crashing could be caused due to incompatibility with sound so I've read, change it to 96khz in your sound card settings is supposed to help.

Guna try update my graphics driver see if it helps.

I wish you could do, especially with such a big and long game you are bound to do many mistakes on the perks. But yeah you have to use the perks quick unless you are screwed.

You can probably do it with the console right now.. I just wish there was a way in game to do it. Every RPG needs to give you at least one respec opportunity!

On that note.. anyone have any links to some good information about character building?

Since the game is potentially so long, and since it's not online, I'm fine with a lack of respec-ing. If I mess up, then it's my mistake to deal with.

The length is one of the reasons why it should have a respec option. Not everyone feels like experimenting with 20 different character builds in a game they may spend hundreds of hours in with one.
