Exactly Grift, especially when the intro is so long to wait to begin the actual game lol.

But I have restarted like 3 times pretty quick and checked various types from dual wield, two handed and a mage, until I found the perfect combo for my rogue with magic.

It's really dumb that stealing stuff isn't always stealing. You can pick stuff up right off a counter in front of an NPC and sell it back to them. What?

Okay.

Yeah it seems the same balancing issues from Oblivion made it over to this game as well. Just seems to me that being stealthy and using ranged attacks is not just bugged up the ass (sometimes you jsut don't get backstabs and you can't freaking backstab someone sitting down or sleeping? wtf?), it also seems to be a lot harder than just swinging a sword. If i run in to a bear or sabre cat while walking somewhere, i'm pretty much fucked if i can't run away or get the AI to go "durrrrr...." and hump against some crag in the terrain (which happens ALL THE TIME).

It depends if your friends with them or a faction/guild they belong too, but yeah i know what you mean. Also theres a floating gem in the Jarrls house that cleary says i can pick it up and its not stealing, yet when i take it, every guard in the whole blood city comes for me? :/

Are you guys for or against the Stormcloaks? I'm for, cause the legion is now the puppet of the Thalmor government and they outlawed worship of Talos - IMO the most badass god of them all (Conquered all of tamriel and ascended to godhood, was also the first Dragonborn)

I accidently used my shout on the Jarls son and quickly got killed, funny thing is after i died it was like an all out brawl where all the NPC's where attacking eachother, was kind of amusing.

I also stumbled across two mammoths one perectly stood ontop the other, thought the circus was in town, it fell off and died instantly.

Ahh good times.

Game is still crashing for me :(

The game has started crashing a lot for me too now. Maybe every hour or so.It doesn't really crash as such though, it's like it just shuts down. Real clean and easy like. No error messages or anything.

Sure you get to pick sides at the start but you don't know the stuff that you go on about right when the game starts, you only find that out after doing a few of the main story quests. But sure, whatever.

Arg! This fucking dragon! It shows up like right when I quick save.. awesome! But now.. it won't land! I can't hit it in the air and it just circles over head and then flies into a mountain (literally, you can see it fly headfirst into a cliff and disappear). I keep loading because HE MUST DIE. Frustrating.

Seriously! They CAN NOT get away. This one won't even attack me. It just flies in a circle for a few minutes. Awesome.

You have no idea how much I hate the shit out of the Frost Trolls!
But I read a book in the game that says Frost Trolls has very fast healing ability, the best way to get them is with 2 options.

1. Shield and sword. Bash them and they will be stunned a bit.
2. Or use fire! Be it strong fire magic or enchanted weapon with fire element.

I add venom to my weapons right before a fight lol.

Also, is it only me or does anyone else also goes with Steel Dagger + Steel Sword combo?
Basically like this?


I am going with dual wield rogue/hunter type, and I am surprised how well it works.
Because you use dagger in one hand its much faster to attack and kill compared having two swords (or hammers or axes).

Just found this awesome light armor, fits perfectly for the rogue type of class (sometimes remove the hood as well).

Games running extremely well. A few texture glitches here and there but nothing to do with actual gameplay. No crashes either. I did have some freezing issues, I was in a dwemer ruin and everytime I used the Clairvoyance spell it froze for a second. It stopped when I got out the ruin though, so it is nothing gamebreaking.

My game did unfortunately crash yesterday for the first time (after about 10 hours in total), and when I load up the menu (Magic, Items etc.) it does sometimes freeze for a couple of seconds. But in terms of performance overall, it's very impressive.

I installed catalyst 11.10 beta3 and it hasn't crashed since, fingers crossed it stays that way.
