This looks incredible, and its cross gen. I expect when they full next gen we will get something that can match the Matrix Awakens demo. Guerrila are that good with tech, and their art is also amazing.

Thanks for the warning. I learned to avoid stuff I know I'm going to play. I still haven't watched those last 10 or so Cyberpunk 2077 videos. Waiting till CD Projekt is done with the game - I did the same with The Witcher 3, only playing it when the Game of the Year version was released 1 year and a half after the base game's launch.

But it's always good to be reminded of avoiding these trailers to go in as blind as possible. In this case it doesn't matter to me, because I will only play the inevitable PC version in 2023, 2024 or 2025.

Till then I will have forgotten most of this stuff. Plus outside of story stuff, you just know all the sites, Twitter, YouTube, etc will be talking and showing Forbidden West for many, many months. Even more when they release DLC expansion(s) for it. So for me, who is going to wait for the PC version, I will just enjoy the non-spoilery stuff leading to it and in the months after launch.

I still haven't played Days Gone, but I do remember fondly of the videos and livestreams you did with Blim. Still working on finishing Assassin's Creed: Valhalla - the base game is long even by AC games, like 50% longer than Odyssey and Origins.

There's just no rush to play games at launch anymore - with  few exceptions like Elden Ring, everyone has backlogs that will never end full of great games to play. I didn't play Final Fantasy 7 Remake on PS4 and now it's out. Just gotta have patience.

Sure, you are totally going to wait and play the PC version of Horizon Forbidden West, thanks for going into so much detail breaking it down and explaining it in intricate detail the steps and logic of why..... and then proving otherwise with DG lol.

You'll be waiting forever for CDPR by the way. 12 months later and all the same incredibly terrible AI and ancient systems are still present since day one. When they say they are fixing it, its simply UI and bug related/progression stuff, that's it. If you are going to play it, just play it on PC and be done with it, I'm NEVER touching or supporting that garbage though.

You "didn't play Final Fantasy 7 Remake on PS4 and now it's out"     ???? It was out in April 2020. Had you played it on PS4, you could play it on PS5 with a free upgrade since 6 months ago. And its a game that didn't need any severe patching, it was nigh on perfect at launch, totally worth the day one purchase and support, with the PC version being in the same place now.

While you were sarcastic about it, I will answer it seriously, in good faith. I installed Days Gone yesterday. And Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade finished downloading a few hours ago. After Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, I plan on playing Days Gone first, afterwards, I will play Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

Until then Square Enix will most probably have patched the PC version. If they haven't - seems unlikely with all the gaming sites saying it's a very bad PC port and they won't like all the bad publicity, I will play God of War (2018) first and then Final Fantasy 7 Remake as is.

Since we're in the subject, what game(s) are you playing and plan to play in the coming months? Will you play Horizon Forbidden West at launch or wait till after Elden Ring?

Asking because Horizon launches February 18th and Elden Ring February 25th. While 1 week will probably be enough to finish the main story of Forbidden West, it's probably not ideal to rush it. Horizon 1 + Frozen Wilds took me over 120-130 hours to 100% finish.

Cyberpunk 2077 won't actually be finished until they release Cyberpunk 2078.

Trailers are been actually pretty meh, i dunno why, but all the litlle gameplay snippets released on the "behind the scenes" until now are stellar.

Hahaha Yes, though then you will have the new problem of Cyberpunk 2078 not being finished until Cyberpunk 2079. CD Projekt RED will just be going in circles, like a dog chasing its own tail.

I cant wait for Elden Ring :)  Man, it will be a damn killer. I think the best FROM game ever
