Those videos show a lot of encoding artifacts though (no offense).
Luckily though, there is a solution to improve this, you can find it in the forum:
pus_audio_in_webm_container_for_gamersyde_videos_to_save_bandwith_and_improve_quality_-11_51166_1_en.html" target="_blank" >http://www.gamersyde.com/forum_vp9_videpus_audi...
I also would love to see mostly H.265/VP9, 10-bit color, FLAC audio (at least from a 5.1 source, if a 7.1 one isn't available) videos not just here on Gamersyde, but on the internet overall. Though I realize we're a good 10-20 years from that happening. H.264 is just too easy-of-use, fast and extremely convenient right now, plus a lot of devices still don't support H.265 properly, let alone VP9.
PS. What truly irks me though is how almost everyone only cares about video quality and the audio quality could go to hell - not saying you or Gamersyde are like this, I mean everyone else. It's truly sad watching 4k videos with 50-100 Mbps bitrate, but with only 2.0 Stereo audio at low bitrates - like all of Digital Foundry's 4k videos, and it will even be a paid service.
Digital Foundry's Rise of the Tomb Raider PS4 Pro vs Titan X Pascal sample's settings:
Duration: 2:09
Size: 823MB
Video settings: 3840x2160, 59.94fps, 53.3mbps h.264
Audio settings: AAC 2.0, 160kbs, 48000Hz

I'm sure people who work with music/sounds (sound engineers, composers, etc), audiophiles, or just love music in general also feel this way. I have a really nice 7.1 system, but outside of a few movies and even fewer TV shows in Blu-Ray, most are 5.1 audio only. Only games fully take advantage of it, but not always.
I can even notice the difference between FLAC and MP3 (at 320 kb/s) with some of the soundtracks that GOG.com provides for many games. Even though I really like Digital Foundry, 160 kb/s Stereo is just taking the piss!
