Shattered Horizon Moonrise Content Update Released

Futuremark® Games Studio today released Moonrise, the first content pack for Shattered Horizon™, their PC exclusive multiplayer first-person shooter. Moonrise adds four new levels to Shattered Horizon and is free for all players.

Has anyone gotten Stalker: Call of Pripyat during the weekend sale? I just launched the game to see how it runs compared to Shadows of Chernobyl...
I pumped every setting to max in the graphics section and then launced the game.... I don't know what's going on but the game looks worse than Shadows now....
The draw distance of the grass is really horrid (like I said I pumped everything to the maximum level...)

Just got my copy damn play.com, exactly two weeks to deliver it... Ah well still cheap and free shipping :)

Just played bit the draw distance of the grass is really horrible. The game still looks pretty good, and won't compare with Chernobyl, because i only played it with complete mod 2009, wich makes lots of improvements.

Weirdly, my game won't launch with xfire on, need to turn it off. Ah well, i'm back in the Zone! Mutants beware :p

After updating to the new UI Steam deleted some games data files and downloaded those again. Overall I had to DL around 5GB of data. I don't really like the new games tab but download and overlay are pretty great now.

Screw this beta. Dowloaded yestarday, and restarted steam. Then EVERYTIME i tried to log in, the damn steam crashed on me, had no way to leave the beta, had to write some command to leave it.

Yeah seems cool, but won't touch it until it's finally released.

I played the demo and I don't know what to think about it. It has some fucking awesome units and stuff but economy system is just shitty. I mean it fucking sucks.

Waypoint build orders for structures are useless now. If you don't have enough mass when the ACU/engineer is going to start building the structure game just cancels the whole build order WTF. Also factories go in to the pause mode if there isn't enough resources and it seems you have to manually unpause the production.

It was easy to build base in SupCom. Do build orders like 3 mass extractors and some power plants and land factory etc... The ACU just build structure and took resources all the time and if resources were low ACU just slowed the building process. Now I have to sit and fucking look my resources all the time and can't browse the web or anything. How did they think it was cool to change economy, it's harder to play now than it was before.

Some experimental units were quite good like that mega fortress and Atlantis II. Research system is ok/good not too sure about it yet. Oh and the game looks quite nice now and performs a lot better than the first SupCom.

I am definitely going to get the game someday although I am disappointed. I mean TA and SupCom are my favorite RTS games... I hope some mod team fixes the economy system.

Is no one playing Napoleon? It looks terrific, but I thought Empire looked great too and some of you guys don't like it. I would definitely buy it, but it doesn't really fit into my budget right now.. what with Bad Company 2 coming out next week. I was just wondering if anyone had played it yet. I want impressions!

No. Bought empire, but it was very boring. As a fan of Total war since the first game i was very disappointed. Waiting on their next game, please: Rome 2 or Shogun 2.

We're plugging away at the Engineer update. He's an interesting class to work on, because he creates a larger footprint in the game than any other class. This means we have a lot of options to work with, and the resulting set of ideas is truly daunting. Since we've already built and playtested some things that haven't worked out (with no false modesty, I think we've mastered the art of rapidly making things that aren't fun), we thought it might be interesting to give you some of our failed experiments.

Great to see them working on the Engineer update!
