I got couple games from the sale already and Trials 2 is awesome. I could recommend to try it out. It's a bit like Elastomania and Action Supercross. Maybe the hardest game I have played this year, insane stuff... but so awesome.

Seems to be old as it says only 16 levels because the game has much more now. Also you can get Bloom effect off! Hmm and yeah there is demo in the Steam for the game if you don't believe me that it's a great fun.

I hope FF13 is one of those best quality titles. Still pretty interesting to see what they will offer. What I can remember they haven't realeased that many PC games before. All I can think about is FF7-8 and FF11. Hmm FF7&8 were ported by Eidos.

That you are. At this point, you probably would have been better buying the valve complete pack on steam. It includes everything from the Orange Box, L4D, all versions of CS, Day of Defeat, Half-Life 1 and some expansions for about £50. That's a deal.

L4D rules! Should have grabbed it in steam's last sale ;P

I still haven't even played my full version of the game but for 25 bones it was a steal anyway. I know I'll have a lot of fun with it when I get around to it. I mean, zombies, right?

I know I'm late to the party but Damn that Team Fortress 2 is fun and addictive stuff.
Really dig the humor and graphical style and those achievements in the game (170 achievements at the moment) are also a nice extra!

What I don't understand is why Valve doesn't lower their prices by 50% permantly? Gabe himself said games were to expensive, as their 'deal' weekends showed major increases in sales (L4D sales skyrocketed with 3000%!!).. Yet, they put the prices back to normal again.. 49,99 Euro's for L4D is simply way to much, 50% of that is a much better price and way more people would continue to buy it..

I got a even better deal, I only paid 15 euro's for it (had a British friend of mine gift it to me during the weekend deal, when it was only 13,50 GBP for him, 13,50 GBP = 15 Euro)

I agree, the point of digital distribution is that it should be cheaper than buy a boxed version.

We don't get a box, manual cd. But we pay the same, or even more in most cases through steam. I still fail though, because i buy some new games through it :p

It's a great service, but the prices aren't that good besides the weekend deals.

And this deals they do pretty much proove cheaper games = more sales.
New games on steam should be 30-35€ no more.
