Yup, Roxy got it right. I pawned my DS Phat when the DS Lite was announced. I've been lazy about picking up another one, I should get to it, there are some really good games for the system. I still own the games I had previously, and plan on picking up Portrait of Ruin and FFIII before they're hard to find, even if I still haven't picked up a new system.

My roommate still has a DS Phat and friends with the Lite, so it's not like I've got no access, but it would be nice to have my own system again. Even though I am currently without one, I think it's Nintendos best system since the NES.

You pick between a mobile phone style keyboard or a regular one. But what I meant was that you can zoom and pull the view around with the Wiimote so that SD browsing doesn't really becomes such a cumbersome and issue-ridden idea as it once were.

Or console based browsing alltogether, for that matter.

Has anyone downloaded MK64 and played it on HDTV? I've heard it makes the sprites look rather hideous, but I'd really like a better estimation of hideousness.

I want it, but I'm afraid it'll look shit. :(

I'm choosing between that and Super Probotector at the moment. :)

I find myself fondling the controller even when it's not on. I'm so happy with it. :O

Starting to freak out as I near the end of Red Steel though, not much else in the way of substantial single player endeavours to embark on. There's Zelda, but I always lose steam and end up not finishing those. I suppose Wiimote love could keep me coming back to it often enough to not forget where I was going though.

Monkey Ball is really nice too, albeit a bit hit and miss with the mini-games, but it's really quite short for solo, so I'll finish that in a jiffy when I put my mind to it.

VC has loads of great games though, and I'm just starting to get into those now.

SSX Blur Character trailer.

I've seen an interview describing the controls and it sounds SO intuitive and awesome. Now that it's super clear that it's based on the sleeker and less grungey style of previous SSX's while incorporating characters and runs from all four games, it's such an obvious must-buy for me I can't even begin to say.

March release.. of course. Some evil person has decided to put everything in bleeding march.

I love SSX. SSX4 sucked though, total disappointment. Blur looks alright, the character portraits are pretty horrible though. I'm glad they're getting back to characters, one thing that SSX4 and the newer Tony Hawk games lack is..character.

Hope more of SSX3's cast returns in blur, hope they all come back for SSX5 and hope it's not another pile :/

Well I think those are all the characters in this one. My fave was Nate and he's gone, but I'll live.

Ooooh I'll live. Tilt the nunchuk to turn, combine with analogue stick to carve, spins and flips with wiimote strokes - and last but not least; draw shapes for ubers! Sounds so great, and I really hope Blur becomes a returning Wii series instead of just having bleak ps3/360 ports trickle down.

Well I hope it becomes a Wii series too--I just hope it doesn't become the primary focus of the SSX franchise. Hopefully SSX is coming in its full glory to 360/PS3 as well, and hopefully it has far better controls and track design than SSX On Tour. Hate that freaking game.

No chance, they'll want their due snazzy graphics mileage out of it aswell. I don't like where many of their games are heading just for the sake of "next gen" though. Dominator is a much more exciting prospect to me than this open ended Burnout 5 nonsense I keep hearing about.

I like change, but sometimes things seem to get in line rather than find new ones when they do.
