The ghost story from The Deep End Games, the indie studio formed by ex-BioShock and Dead Space devs, is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PC version released last week and you can find here our videos and impressions.

Developed by ex-members of Irrational Games (BioShock) and Visceral Games (Dead Space), Perception puts you in the shoes of a blind woman haunted by nightmares set in a strange mansion. She finally discovers where the actual place really is and decides to investigate on our own. Soon, she realizes there are paranormal activities in the abandoned house, but it's too late to turn back. We have only been able to play the first chapter of the game so far, but it's quite an intriguing experience, though sadly not scary at all for now. That being said, the game's atmosphere is well done, and so is the voice acting, which makes us want to keep playing to uncover the truth behind the mysteries of the mansion, the story being inspired by real events adding to our curiosity. Not sure if that will be enough to make a decent game or a good one, but until we find out, take a look at the footage we recorded during the first chapter.

Psychological horror game Perception will launch on May 30 has announced Feardemic, new indie publisher formed by Layers of Fear developers. Developed by The Deep End Games which is comprised of former BioShock and Dead Space devs, the game puts you in the shoes of blind woman Cassie who tries to unravel the mystery of Echo Bluff. You "see" thanks to echolocation, with her sensitive hearing you tap her cane which creates a sound then a visual. New trailer after the jump.

Perception, the Kickstarted-funded horror adventure game we talked about back in June 2015 will also release on PS4 this year in addition to the PC version. Comprised of ex-BioShock and Dead Space devs, Deep End Games is able to bring its title to Sony's console thanks to a partnership with Feardemic, a new indie horror-focused label created by Bloober Team (Layers of Fear).
Controlling Cassie, a young woman who suffers from blindness but with a sharp hearing, players will have to solve the mystery from Echo Bluff, an estate that haunts her dreams, all the while trying to escape the Presence, a mysterious force. Videos inside.

A few weeks ago, indie studio The Deep End Games, composed of former BioShock and Dead Space devs, announced Perception. It is a horror adventure game where you control a blind woman who must solve mysteries and escape the Presence in Echo Bluff, the house from her nightmares. You navigate through echolocation and hold only a cane and a smartphone. The Kickstarter campaign seems well underway to reach its goal. The developer expects to release it next year on Steam.

Loakum @MikeManiac61: I support all the peaceful protests against police brutality because it’s a real issue. I agree destroying property is diverting from that message. (2 Hours ago)

Loakum @MikeManiac61: of course. I literally cried when I seen that video of the death of George Floyd. Rioting will only make that same community suffering last much longer. (2 Hours ago)

MikeManiac61 @Loakum: Indeed. It's understandable to be pissed off of the situation but destroying property and looting business isn't gonna help anyone. (2 Hours ago)

Loakum Then stop the senseless rioting or else it may very well come to Martial Law to restore order. It’s really a simple choice to rational minded people. Protesting is fine, but rioting won’t be tolerated (3 Hours ago)
