GSY Video PC

Released on Xbox One last year, Ryse: Son of Rome landed on PC earlier this month, here are some videos captured in 1080p and 60 frames per second, all settings maxed out.
Note: motion blur was deliberately disabled to better enjoy the 60 fps framerate.

Trailer PC

Ryse: Son of Rome has hit PC today and to celebrate that, Crytek shows its game through this launch trailer, available in 4K. The title comes with the 4 DLC packs released on Xbox One.
Update 2: Trailer glitch fixed.

Trailer PC Xbox One

After being part of the Xbox One launch last year, Ryse: Son of Rome is about to strike again, on PC this time. Inside you'll find a brand new trailer to admire in glorious 1080p. If full HD is not enough, don't worry though, as you'll get to enjoy the beauty of the game in 4k on October 10.

Xbox One launch title Ryse: Son of Rome will hit PC this Fall has announced Crytek today. The boxed version will be co-published by Deep Silver. It contains all the DLCs and comes with 4K resolution support.

Video Xbox One

After Forza Motorsport 5, what better title than Ryse: Son of Rome to demonstrate the power of Xbox One? Crytek's new creation may look a bit repetitive, but it is undoubtedly the best-looking game on the console, with an impressive amount of details. Our good friend Davton really enjoyed capturing these 6 videos for you guys, so we hope you'll enjoy watching them as well.
Note: Again, our captures suffer from the same sound issue we were talking about earlier, so if you hear anything odd, it's not the game itself. We're still looking into it to understand why it affected all the videos we recorded yesterday.

Images Xbox One

After zombies, it's gladiators' turn to show off in these new screenshots of Ryse: Son of Rome. Crytek's title will also be available at the Xbox One launch.

The French games show have never been known for having fresh brand new game builds to display, and this year's Paris Games Week certainly isn't any exception. Quite a few of our team was there yesterday evening for the "private" launch party, and came back with very few noteworthy videos. Still, let's start with a game we always struggled to film correctly, Ryse: Son of Rome with the now usual coop mode.

Trailer Xbox One

Microsoft has put online the TV spot of Ryse: Son of Rome which is mostly live action. Crytek's game will hit store shelves on November 22.

Trailer Xbox One

Microsoft finally released a good quality version of the "Damocles" trailer for Ryse: Son of Rome release a few days ago. Here it is, then, and let's hope the rather nice story trailer released yesterday on youtube will follow soon...
Update: Now that's a nice surprise, the story trailer is also available right now!

GSY Video Xbox One

Ryse: Son of Rome was playable on Microsoft's booth, with what seemed to be the same build as Gamescom. Since we didn't show this configuration of the arena before, there you have it now :)

  • nostradamus

nostradamus in the end there is still a whole lot more missions to go, but EA will never not "MassProduceFrame" this franchise, so no more EA for me. (it was a gift) - The respawn game is indeed an odd one out. (3 Hours ago)

  • nostradamus

nostradamus @Melmoth: yhea, but i still think the missions are the tipical EA clones, not a dent on Lucas Arts/Totallygames. Apt, as a new age Star Wars fast food junk. That VR Mission was some bait&switch. (3 Hours ago)

  • Melmoth

Melmoth @nostradamus: You use the PSVR? SW Squadrons is really cool in VR. The feeling of zipping past a star destroyer in a x-wing is a childhood dream come true. (11 Hours ago)

nostradamus @Melmoth: psvr 2.0, its bad too, really bad. and no up/down adjust (17 Hours ago)

Melmoth @toelessfoot: I haven't tried the Quest 2 myselv, but people seemed to compare the image quality/resolution when using the link-cable to the Rift S, atleast before the update. (17 Hours ago)
