GSY Video Xbox One

Sunset Overdrive being now officially available in North America, the Gamersyde crew can freely open the valve to a massive flow of direct feed videos. Please make sure your seat backs and tray tables are in their full upright position, also make sure your seat belt is correctly fastened. We hope you'll enjoy watching them as much as we did capturing them. More Microsoft goodies to come as soon as tomorrow since we'll have a certain Master Chief as a special guest on Gamersyde. Stay tuned!

GSY Review Xbox One

After Southern France and Northern Italy, Microsoft is taking us to Sunset City to discover their brand new exclusive. Historically attached to Sony's consoles, developer Insmoniac Games delivers Sunset Overdrive on Xbox One, a title that had failed to get much interest from most of the Gamersyde team over the course of the previous months. Yet, our good friends dark10x and Ghost_Deus, who had a chance to attend a presentation of the game respectively in Cologne and Tokyo, were pretty optimistic, which got the attention of the rest of the crew as the release date was getting closer. Because we were intrigued, we put on our sexiest mini skirt to face the awesomepocalypse for you guys. As usual, for the full review head over to the French side. Our verdict along with the positives and negatives have been fully translated inside where you'll also find a bunch of direct feed videos.
Note: More videos will be available tomorrow as we are still tied by the NDA and can't show you anything past the first two hours.

GSY Live Xbox One

After discovering the multiplayer side of Sunset Overdrive in French and with VIP James Stevenson (community manager at Insomniac Games), we gave you one hour of us playing the game whilst speaking English, which was no easy task let me tell you that. If you want to see the first part of our livestream in French with J. Stevenson, it's inside too, and you'll get to hear him explain a bunch of things when Blim is not talking at the same time. Thank you guys for wathcing us live, and thanks in advance to all those who'll have the courage to watch our replay(s).

GSY Live Xbox One

We're getting quicker, the replay to our Sunset Overdrive livestream is already available on Gamersyde. You can now watch it here and listen to our beautiful voices without worrying about the quality of your internet connection. We'll probably show a bit more of the game tomorrow in French only, but you're welcome to join us if you need to see the second hour of Insomniac's new title to make your mind about it.

Sunset Overdrive is of course at Microsoft's booth for this TGS, and we recorded this video showing some multiplayer mayhem.

GSY Video Xbox One

It's extremely difficult to find competent players on game shows, and it took a lot of patience to get someone even remotely acceptable while filming Sunset Overdrive, as you'll see with this video.

While waiting for our own videos from the showfloor in a few hours, here is the gameplay of Sunset Overdrive as filmed yesterday at Microsoft's press conference.

toelessfoot @Melmoth: They should really sell a controller-less G2, I'd definitely get one. It can be used with Index controllers too. (10 Hours ago)

  • Melmoth

Melmoth An inside-out tracking-solution would make things much simpler. The G2 seems fantastic for sims, but unsure about the controller tracking. (11 Hours ago)

  • Melmoth

Melmoth @toelessfoot: The problem i have with the CV1 is having to move the sensors between two rooms when going from a sim setup to roomscale. So much hassle that i rarely use roomscale at all. (11 Hours ago)

Melmoth @nostradamus: i read about it a while ago. Based on the Doom engine. Looked really well made for a fan-game. (11 Hours ago)

  • toelessfoot

toelessfoot @Melmoth: Yeah I came from a Rift CV1, kind of wish I hadn't sold it for the good tracking and OLED contrast, not to mention my computer could run more games at its native res. (11 Hours ago)

nostradamus @Melmoth: you have this [url] its pretty decent if you can stomach that unforgiving sonic physics in 3d [url] (11 Hours ago)

  • Melmoth

Melmoth Talking about 3d platforming. I still think the contol principles of sonic hasn't been properly done in 3D (13 Hours ago)
