Microsoft has put online new screeshots of Insomniac Games title Sunset Overdrive which will be released exclusively on Xbox One. The least we can say is that it looks colorful. The game will be out this Fall.
bullshots aside. i really love the art style. but after watching the gameplay footage that's about all i love. hopefully they sort it out cos it and "below" where the main games i was excited for last year at E3.
It's not fun! It is childish!! Worth seeing the trailer does not even managed to play it! Graphic style that might be interesting, but useful for hard-core gamers do not hate!
Wow. Game looks stunning. The gameplay looks amazing. It reminds me of when games were made to be fun and beautiful instead of story driven linear borefests of today. Looks a cross between, Crackdown, Dead Rising. Jet Set Radio, R & Clank and Infamous. The game is recieving truly awesome praise to. This game just went to day 1 straight away. Awesome visuals to. Awesome.

Although not every game is made to be a linear story-driven set piece borefest, I agree with that. Nothing in the gameplay seems to make any sense, which makes potentially great. It's like Jet Set Radio crossed with Dead Rising, crossed with (I don't know why it reminds me of this) Zombies Ate My Neighbours.

maybe thats why they made it lol
A game can still have advanced dynamic lighting systems, loads of particles, advanced shaders and so on regardless of artstyle. I wouldn't be surprised if there's more heavy tech in this title than most "realistic" looking games.

I like linear games with good story. It make games more interesting and obviously gameplay needs to complement it. After looking at video it looks like a r&c game but lacking the charm of it. It looks fun though.
