GSY Video PS4 Xbox One

Since last week, Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle is available on Playstation 4 and Xbox One. It's always cool to play these two excellent games from PlatinumGames, and you can now watch our two videos of the Xbox One X version in 4K.

Bayonetta & Vanquish are now both avaialble in a bundle for PS4 and Xbox One as well as individually on each platform's online store. The titles run at 4K and 60fps and the retail version features a steelBook case with a new anniversary art.

To celebrate the first decade of PlatinumGames' two flagship titles, SEGA will release on February 18 2020 Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle for PS4 and Xbox One. Both titles will run at 4K/60fps on the higher-end platforms. Trailer and screens inside.

GSY Video PC

Vanquish has finally been ported to the PC, allowing PC owners to enjoy the game in 4K resolution, provided they have the rig for it. Inside, you'll find some gameplay footage of the game recorded in 1080p while the game was running in 4K. For more information on this good port, check out the excellent article our good friend Dark John 10x wrote for Digital Foundry.

Trailer PC

After the release of Bayonetta last month on Steam, SEGA announces today that Vanquish, another well appreciated title from PlatinumGames, will hit the PC platform on May 25 with pre-order now open and giving access to the Digital Deluxe Edition. Trailer and screens inside.

GSY Review Xbox 360 PS3

When you are the creator of such iconic series as Resident Evil or Devil May Cry, when you have also been responsible for more peculiar titles as Viewtiful Joe and God Hand, you basically have nothing to prove the world anymore. However, when discovering Vanquish for the first time, it is just impossible not to be taught a new lesson by Shinji Mikami. Yet more proof that the Third Person Shooter genre can still evolve and bring new sensations. But enough with the introduction, it is time for you to read our full review of Platinum Games' latest jewel.

Until we can get our own copy of Vanquish and maybe try to review the game properly - if we have a bit of spare time -, here is a gameplay video of the PS3 version for starters. Thanks to DJmizuhara, we are on time for release and you can have a sneak peak at Level 2 and 3. More videos to come, provided you ask nicely.
Update 3: Third video back online.

Vanquish will be released this week in all territories, and as expected Sega released this launch trailer, right on time.

Just one week from Vanquish's release, Sega sends us this new trailer named Battlesuit. I'll let you guys guess the content.

Sega released a new video of Vanquish focusing on the weapons that will be available in the game. This new title will ship on October 19 in North America and October 22 in Europe and we might be able to add the game to our Gamersyde review list, if everything goes according to plans that is.

toelessfoot Right. I think programmable shaders were adopted fairly early on consoles (xbox360/ps3) (3 Days ago)

MrWhite @toelessfoot: Well, only recently they have been. I think this is the first gen I've seen where PC's are playing catch up. Not through hardware power, but through development cycles (3 Days ago)

  • toelessfoot

toelessfoot Yeah I think innovations on the console side are taken up more quickly by PC than vice versa because consoles are really lead platform for everything (3 Days ago)

MrWhite At least for most gamers. Similar to when everything went to pci-e (4 Days ago)

  • MrWhite

MrWhite I think we could be seeing a dramatic shift in PC hardware where it'll be essential to own both an SSD and a next gen card with the api's to use them. That also would probably require new motherboards (4 Days ago)

MrWhite If a game is built from the ground up to take advantage of that, though... (4 Days ago)
