Xbox 360 PS3 Wii

Atari released this long, and quite impressive video of Alone In The Dark, complete with commenting and everything. The game is planned to be released on all the major platforms this summer.

This game won me over with the first video they released some time ago. Love innovative games that do more than just point and shoot rinse and repeat. Much like how there's half a dozen different ways to take down those big daddies in Bioshock. Some ways u die a lot, and other ways you use no ammo, no damage taken, and less than a quarter of your Eve. Time to go back and play Bioshock for the 5th time .

Using of brain? I guess players from USA will be having a problems with it...

Anyway I think it's just a "show". In game you will be able to use just a gun or smthing, I don't believe, that whole game will be based on such a tricks, because sooner or later it will become kinda boring.

By the way, sticky tape and throwing it with automatic stick effect is kinda funny and stupid in same time.

nice idea with the combinations, shame they don't go far beyond the realm of sticky tape in the demonstration.

Now that's pretty awesome indeed! I'm still a bit sceptical as to how this will flesh out during the whole game, but at first glance this looks very impressive. It might actually deliver on the promise so many games have made before, but failed to deliver on.

The lighting engine is amazing, very nice indeed!

Im visiting Ataris offices in London on the 21st of this month for a little sneak preview. I'm one of 20 who have been granted exclusive access to the game. They are paying for lunch as well, which is nice. :)

So what you're saying is... you love Americans and American games...? How nice of you to say so!

I think it looks great! I really hope that it feels like you have a choice in how you play/what items you use/traps you set/etc... I can't stand when a game basically holds your hand and essentially tells you what to use or only allows you to use items at certain times when they could clearly be used elsewhere.

Call of Duty was the first game that used dynamic lighting to make a game look "real", even the least passable textures were augmented,
i'm glad more devs are following suit..if i get this game, i'm writing my name in flames! ^__^

I wish anti-Americans had better command of the english language when they insult our intelligence. As it stands, witless jabs like the above sound like they're coming from Borat.

Let's just say we are not exactly in friendly terms with Atari right now. Because of AitD in fact.

Blim, if you want me to ask questions about the game on your behalf, I'd be more than happy to do so. I've already checked about NDA's with them, and they are fine, just no pics or video :(

Depends on what kind of tape. You ever try out those sticky Nerf balls at a toy store when you were younger?

I remember a last time AitD news was posted(screenshots) you guys said it looked bad. Well, I don't care how bad it looks if this Macgyver like gameplay works out right.

Ok, Now I'm really interested.. this one was not even on my radar...

but now I'm open, this game looks like it's going to be pretty cool. Hope they did there homework and really nailed the gameplay.

Can't wait to see the rest of it... I think I might have to add this to my Amazon.com Shopping Cart. It's like an early Resident Evil 5, which would be really cool to have right now while I'm waiting for that game to come out.

It just seems to play a little like Resident evil 4 on Nintendo's GameCube with the flashlight and the way he holds the gun, which is a good thing. So I just need to see what some of the monsters or the things you will fight will look like.

I just need a little more, then I think I'll be sold.
