Sega finally released something new about the much awaited (for me at least) Sega Rally Revo. I guess we'll have to wait a bit more to see the game in motion since all we got now are these 5 images.

i spent all my pocket money playing the acade version of this,it was amzing
this looks great graphics i prey for the gamplay vids its gonna rock,im just wondering whether it will beat macrae and im not sure it will,but i will buy both anyways.
any idea of a release date,i read a while back it was may time?
but that was 4 months ago and i know they change weekly these days
The lighting of the environment doesn't look too convincing, kind of arcadey, but the cars and mud/particles look very cool.
Could be cool, I have a bit more faith in Colin McRae from what I've experienced on the original Xbox with the CR series. But the mud does look pretty nifty.
Isn't CRDirt coming out this Summer? I was hoping to see a bit of it from GDC.
Comparing Sega Rally to McRae is like comparing Ridge Racer to Forza. Nonetheless, as far as driving games go, I believe McRae will be significantly better.

Yeah all great! But they really need to release the damn stuff, we've been waiting for a proper fun racinggame ever since PGR3 at launch over 16 months ago!! Good fun semi-realistic gameplay, next-gen graphics, and good online MP are for me the most important things..
I could have gone for the NFS games, but the framerate was killing me there.. And Burnout and Ridgeracer are not even racinggames imho..
I hope they get rid of the cartoon looking colors. After Motrorstorm that doesn't look that hot. Hopefully the Motorstorm team makes a rally game. They made the WRC series on the PS2. The US only got the first one, which sucked, cuase it was an awesome game and Im sure the other parts that came out in europe were better.
Furious this is in-game. The effects you can see (the motion blur, the lighting, the particles), are easily done in-game. And well, whenever you see crunchy outlines, it means (at least to me) that it's in-engine (that's not the same as in-game, but just almost)

haha, that's too cool man. i love sega rally too, i like the arcade style a lot better. i wish there would be a new rally sport challenge also since those games had unbelievably nice graphics and fun gameplay.
i wouldnt say they look cartoony...flat textured yes. i do think the motorstorm vehicles look better, they have sharper textures and all. even the GT:HD car models look much better than these.
look at the side of the car and doors in the ;ast picture!! wtf!! poor textures and dull colours

Fair does, im running at a ridiously high screen resolution so jaggies arent visible, but when I lowered it I can see them. Must mighty fine work by Sega.
Haha sega racing games is renowned for its floating cars in early builds.

lol, this graphics are easily believable...especially the car models. anyone here who hasnt played motorstorm really needs to - the car models in motorstorm are much better...just look at the last picture of the subaru, poor textures - look at the jaggy logos, and look the the doors!! completely flat. also, look at the pic of the grey ford focus - colours are really dull and once again the logos arnt very sharp.
i know graphics dont make a game...but TheFuriousOne asked if the screens were cgi, and other have said the cars look excellent when its obvious its not cgi, and there are much better looking cars in other games like motorstorm, GT:HD and Forza 2....
