The promising and good looking A Plague Tale: Innocence launches in less than three weeks, on May 14, so now is a good time to have a look at some new gameplay footage. Focus shows in this 8 minute-long video a new environment that may offer Amicia and her brother a short-term safety from the Iquisition. The footage also gives a glimpse at puzzle-solving and how light, darkness and rats can be of use.

Looks pretty nice. Not sure about the constant talking or how simple and obviously broadcast the solitons are (the sparkly objects) but I might give it a ago. Looks relatively decent for a small studio.

Not a fan of the constant thinking-out-load from the characters. "Hmm no-one here.. Hm.. OK!"
"I should really watch out for those rats! Hmm. Maybe if I shine a light?"
In many cases the enemy should even be able to hear her speaking to herself that load. :P

Looks great the more i see it, and the subject was a serous matter in old civilization. only one issue i have with the content. The plague was a slow killer. a death sentence in a matter of days and weeks, not seconds. and you were bound to get sick from coming in contact with really infected areas.

@ the thumbnail shot - likely to get infected with that much contact.
