We covered it several months ago, Alien: Rogue Incursion was a pretty effective VR game in the FPS genre, but the developers at Survios decided to make their game accessible to all the players who don't own a virtual reality headset, which obviously includes those who play on Xbox consoles. The result is an action-oriented FPS that lacks a little punch in terms of feedback and gunplay, but nevertheless manages to capture the Alien universe well, with the added bonus of increased detail, higher definition, and improved effects over the VR version. The adventure is fairly short, in line with other action-oriented FPS games, lasting around eight hours, but we don't think it would have benefited from being longer, and for €/$24.99, it's a pretty honest package in terms of pricing. The version we played still had a few minor bugs and some awkward random appearances of the xenomorphs (we even saw one pop up right in front of us), but nothing too dramatic. We'll let you discover the first twenty minutes of this Evolved Edition of the game running on PS5 Pro to give you a chance to form your own opinion.
