THQ has released some new Screenshots and the extended version of the Darksiders II Announcement Trailer (about 20 secs of extra footage at the end of the video).

this. thats earth segment of the first in the video that is more realistic and less cell-shading sticks out like a sore thumb.
The aliasing was deforming the visuals in the first lets hope that isn't an issue this time round. We have seen some stunning open world games (RDR, LANoire and Infamous 2) since Darksiders 1 lets hope they can keep up.
Sorry but I can't help but point out the title is spelt wrong, it says "Extented Trailer" instead of "Extended Trailer" sorry! don't mean to be picky, just thought it better to point out :)
But the game looks fantastic! the art style is incredible, this is definitely on my radar now.

Who knows how Death should sound? in Meet Joe Black it sounded badass too and it was not mechanical emotionless like in here.
I just think an emotionless voice is suited for Death, having read what Vigil Team says about him is suited to him to be emotionless "I dont give a fuck" kinda character.
This is a comic book version of death.
Maybe they couldve made him sounf grabbly, like he's screaming through blood, with overtones of a second high pich voice almost screaming like a banshee (But than again, that could be annoying). Why does death need to talk, just have him gester, point, or stare. Who the eff know. The game looks cool and I enjoyed the first one. I'll get this.
Just recently played the first game and it was pretty solid, although the pacing completely fell apart and became painful towards the end with a bunch of really long winded and obtuse puzzles.
This looks like a great sequel thus far and hopefully the devs don't re create the flipping water temple from Zelda again.
