I hope this one is as good as it looks. It's not as if we're spoiled for good Star Wars games and they're surely getting sick of people telling them this
I liked Battlefront a fair bit and Kotor but that's about all. Actually i loved N64 Shadow of Empire(despite it being fairly shoddy really) and Pod racer I love, but I don't think any one us have really ever had a truly amazing Star Wars experience from a game in the same way Aliens too has suffered this
Looks awesome, dark and gritty Star Wars.
Great graphics and atmosphere, I just hope they deliver on a good general game experience.
Though I will always like Jedi/Sith since for me that is Star Wars, so playing a gun using Bounty Hunter in star Wars will feel underwhelming lol, but I dont mind.

Republic Commando was f'ing amazing, simply because it removed itself from the movies which is why the grand majority of SW games suck as they never move out of the shadows of the movie.
Looking at 1313, if they can successfully make a game that doesn't rely on fan service SW crap, than we might looking at a good game.

I liked it for a time as well but for me personally, the combat felt lacking after so long and i never finished it. It just needed tweaking to make tighter. It was a good effort though

Republic Commando is such a tragic tragedy of a game... a first person shooter made in the last console generation that NEVER got a sequel or a new attempt at making a similar concept precisely when this current generation is and has been all about first person shooters.
I really wish LucasArts had some pitbull testees and made a new Republic Commando attempt or even an Imperial Commando series.
When I look at SW 1313 and its concept of going down the rabbit whole to lock gamers in a perpetual corridor based 3rd person shooter all I can think of is they are trying to appease the Gears of Wars fanbase so I keep thinking of the game as Gears of Star Wars... sad... at least and I hope there is no stupid overpowered Jedi/force users as the main character... the Star Wars universe could use a game where you don't have to be yet another wannabe Jedi who violates the laws of the movies.
