The DOOM Slayer’s Saga comes to an end tomorrow with the release of The Ancient Gods - Part Two, the second expansion for DOOM Eternal that features new locations and new challenges. Trailer and screens after the jump.
Really sad that Mick Gordon won't be returning, but if the dude can't make a more comprehensive and tight ship schedule, then he shouldn't sign contratcs or try to make videogames that aren't studio records. Either come down from the pedestal and join us in a team contributing, or keep letting his solo creative output dictate the whole thing into the ground like it did with Eternal. The letter of the Doom Producer was infurianting to read the more and more it went with the meager ouput and missed deadlines, the insane pressure put on the team was palpable.
People tal shit with the execs on "Crunch" enforced on the team, but reverse could be true also in some cases. ID really shouldn't be making contracts with THIS TYPE of people, no mather how good they are, and they did the right thing leting Mick and his team go. there are always As Good artists out there, just start searching.
