Capcom has announced Dragon's Dogma set to release in early 2012 on Xbox 360 and PS3. Ten screens inside, the trailer will follow shortly. Update: Trailer added. Update 2: Announcement trailer added.
Looks pretty great to me, artwork is typical fantasy cant ask for more and the graphics are great!
I am on stand by but I do find it interesting at the moment.

Ok let me rephrase that:
DAY ONE!
(just saw the trailer and found out who is/are actually on the team developing this)
This is amazing stuff.
A second clip showed how different people were working together, trying to kill that multi-headed hydra-dragon.
Basically this, this is DMC3 and 4 director using MT Framework Engine to create a open world action RPG with some SoTC bosses that can be climbed from all angles.

Day 0!!
Great minds think alike. >_-
Capcom put its biggest and best dev-team EVER together on this one.
BTW all bosses can be climbed. It's like SotC on steroids!
Day -10
Edit: I'm kinda hyped etc, so my typing-skills decrease.
"Please tell me that this game has some kind of online co-op, if so i am a very happy man."
The trailer shows 3 characters jumping off a small cliff together. Judging by Campcoms interest in online co-op over competitive multiplayer i'd say it is a given at this point.
graphically speaking this game urinates all over the recent unveiled elders scroll game (Whatever its called). Surprising in this day and age of western graphical superiority
The animations of the hydra thing is awesome, but there's no way I can agree that it "urinates all over" Skyrim. There's just this overall bland flatness that I can't seem to get by, but perhaps I'll just need to see more footage.

MT Framework or whatever Capcom made since RE5, thats the engine I think.

I'll wait for more media to decide if I like it or not.
