Ubisoft certainly impressed me with their coop demo of Assassin's Creed Unity during Microsoft's press conference. Now let's see if the gameplay actually changed or not!
And i am surprised they added crouch in a ASSASSIN game, after how many titles now? lol
It has always sort of been in the game. If you held the jump button, you'd sort of crouch. Sort of. lol.
Hoping that they are putting more of a focus on open world assassinations, to finally live up to the potential of AC 1. The original still was the most unique, interesting, and exciting of the games to me. I liked 2 more probably, but only a bit and it just wasn't the same thing.
Looks sharp as all hell, damn.

Sort of if you press and hold 3 buttons at the same time and then not being able to move, sure lol
Damn...that looked sharp! It's so detailed....I really like the visuals and there's a bunch of new animations as well. Wonder how they've changed the gameplay as that's supposed to receive some sort of update...
Doing missions in co-op looks like a welcome addition!
Same last-gen cubemaps shit. Lack of indirect shadows. So "next-gen". I'll probably buy this anyway as the setting is really intriguing. But the NPC interaction animations are abhorrent. Could've gone with something like NaturalMotion's Euphoria. Shoving NPCs would have been easier and it wouldn't look all grotesque.

What are you on about? What's "indirect shadows"? Cube maps? Sorry, were you expecting ray traced reflections globally or something?
Again, another game built with proper next/current gen tech, just like The Division, and it shows. This actually looked better than the original teaser, which many doubted to be the actual game. Give the developers the time and they will produce games with a noticeable leap over the previous gen.
Lets hope ubi doesn't do a downgrade like they did with watchdogs (grinds molars) I had no interest in picking up black flag...but this, this has me already.
Great graphics, I love the indirect lighting inside the palace with the sun shining through the windows. Might be all static ofcourse, no realtime day/night cycles in those locations.
The gameplay and its commentary makes me cringe, they try to present it as "oh, what a coincidence, my coop partners were there just in the right time!".
LOL, everything was so obviously choreographed. They wouldn't show anything else for E3 ofcourse (some spontaneous coop session that might even go wrong?), but they should be open about it and don't take viewers as ignorant fools.
