I'm in love with Abzû ever since its reveal, cannot wait to play this wonderful game. Also, it's really sad that Abzû is not getting more attention, it certainly deserves more love. But most people don't know about its existence or much about it.

I would be extremely grateful if you guys could try contacting the developer, Giant Squid, and ask if they could send GamerSyde high quality version of Abzû's other trailers - the last one was an E3 2014 Teaser 2 years ago.

I feel Abzû is one of those games that benefits immensily from a high quality video to truly show how beatiful and lovely the game's artsyle is, when compared to Youtube's highly compressed quality.

PS. Feel free to send this message to Giant Squid, if you guys think it could help. I'm just a fan of Abzû who really wants to see it get more attention and love.

toelessfoot Right. I think programmable shaders were adopted fairly early on consoles (xbox360/ps3) (2 Days ago)

MrWhite @toelessfoot: Well, only recently they have been. I think this is the first gen I've seen where PC's are playing catch up. Not through hardware power, but through development cycles (2 Days ago)

  • toelessfoot

toelessfoot Yeah I think innovations on the console side are taken up more quickly by PC than vice versa because consoles are really lead platform for everything (3 Days ago)

  • MrWhite

MrWhite At least for most gamers. Similar to when everything went to pci-e (3 Days ago)

  • MrWhite

MrWhite I think we could be seeing a dramatic shift in PC hardware where it'll be essential to own both an SSD and a next gen card with the api's to use them. That also would probably require new motherboards (3 Days ago)

MrWhite If a game is built from the ground up to take advantage of that, though... (3 Days ago)
