The Kidman dlcs did a much better job storywise compared to the messy base game so im hopeful tew2 will have a better story.

That's not true. There was nothing messy about the Evil Within. You were simply playing from Sebastian's point of view, and Sebastian didn't know anything going in.

Kidman however knew what was going on, and was involved with it behind the scenes so obviously, much more of the story would be revealed when you're playing from her perspective.

Claiming the main games story was messy is completely false.

But I think it goes without saying that it's an absolute must that people play Kidman's DLC's if they've played the main game. So much about the story is revealed there, and especially relates to the sequel.

nostradamus @Melmoth: funny thing CD really went the route of Core Design, milked on rush iteration jobs years after years, but they really try shit and fail, neve with a strong core formula. Even TR: Anniversary (4 Hours ago)

Melmoth The only Crystal Dynamics game i really like is Soul Reaver, but that was sooo long ago. It was almost like a zelda+castlevania game. (8 Hours ago)

Melmoth The Last Crusade and Fate of Atlantis. I haven't played the new Tomb Raider games except for about 1 hour of the first of the Crystal Dynamics games. I'm not a big fan of the auto-platforming. (8 Hours ago)
